All in all i'm quite satisfied with my racing, didnt cause any crash and didnt spin off the track... For being my first fr btcc race icant complain did expect the car to be faster but it might just be me lol.

Also tup for the newcomers.... They were fast, all of them!.

Nur is good for bmw? Weird to hear it has a very long straight again.... Any time on it or a reference of last season?

My PB last season was a mid 1:38. Nurb is most difinetely the home of Beemer. Trust me. One of my favourites.

Now the season has started my interest has piqued again haha.

Nevermind. Maybe next season, ill enjoy my break and come back in S5 and do a Scumi ;)

Ill just watch on, got my tip on who I think will win so ill just see how that pans out.

If you wanna pm me your ideas for season 5 tho I'll be happy to do some private running as and when/if I pop on.

Every now an then I like to pop on and hit the ring, 3D, No HUD an change weather for a couple of laps by myself. V enjoyable.

The thing is most of us are used to entering the pit on our own but during the race your entering off someones draft or still in someones draft entering the pits .

I usually try to enter the pits when there aren't many other cars going in, avoids problems

That doesn't mean you get a day off though. Get back to work and prepare yourself for more incidents then you have ever imagined :sly: .

Seriously guys, let's try to have less incidents so that rolo can get a day off 👍 .
 
i'm slow on nur so far... a best of 1.40.2 >_>

anyone up for some training in the next days? I'm having great problems adapting to FR cars so any chance to look at other's driving is of help for i have not a clear idea of where i'm so slow.
 
using the run off i think i can easily shave over 1 sec but it's forbidden :P my skill at avoiding tire smoke is quite weak so far
 
Can't remeber what I ran in testing of the cars at GP/D but I think it was 1:37s or something.
 
Last time I raced here was in S2, but looking back at the replay it seemed pretty tidy

I'm sure rolo will see to anyone who gets 4 wheels off track :)

are you serious? I'm quite disappointed to be honest, the nur is said to be beemer's home and i'm just 0.2 seconds faster than with the last year mazda (and the time i saved wasn't that great).

I expect a long streak of >10th place results this season :P

Beside that, having so many people and so fast it's exciting it has revamped my interest in GT5
 
ahahah do not worry after 1 season in vectra and one in volvo nothing can bring me down :D

8 incidents yes, but not necessarily 8 penalty-worthy incidents.

If you can do a 1:39 at GP/D (the lower the better) than good - if you can do a 38 then it's podium pace. 👍

Going to try this tomorrow. And hopefully I won't get this thread and ToCA mixed up again like I did last time :scared: .
