Ok guys thanks for the info. I have no doubt this is a well organized series. I'm quite excited to get back to racing, it's been a while since I last raced for points!

Testing the Ford ST now, sign me up this is fun lol!

Nice to finally see you racing in GT6!

Hi guys. I believe Nissman already signed me up for this. Just thought i would stop by and say hi :) looking forward to racing here, seems like an interesting series! I'll try to do a bit of testing/car selection tonight, if i get time. Otherwise it will be at the weekend. See you on track soon!

Yup, got you down, I'm hearing you could potentially be a runaway champion! :nervous::sly:

Shall I put you down for the Ford then?

Is there a deadline? Would like to test the cars and see what tickles my pickle :p

Also, I'm faster than Loz :sly:

Provided there's space available to change, you can switch cars as many times as you like before Round 1 (or the first round you race if you miss Round 1). Once you've started taking part in the first Q session that car is yours and you can't change it.

@rolo912011 Thanks for letting me in, been watching from the back seat for a while :P just thought I'd throw myself into the mix for one or two races, since I have been AWOL since GT5 :D

welcome to the vulva appreciation club!

I will be using the BMW 330i for the moment. I also tested the Nissan, very balanced car but it feels a bit lazy going around the track. BMW is more fun to drive and I was also 0.2 faster in testing at Apricot Hill then Nissan. So for the time being I'm going with the BMW, I might change my mind before Rd.1 tho.

Managed to fit in a quick test session with Nissman tonight. I was using the Peugeot, just about managed to keep up with his BMW in a race! :) so for now I would like to reserve the last Peugeot until I have tested a couple of the other cars if thats ok. Not used front wheel drive much in GT6, so it was good fun trying to set the car up!

OK noting these 👍

In other news, neljack has dropped to a reserve, opening up another slot.

With all the testing lets test new hosts.
I'm shocked really I've mb city here I think I could run London really.

120mb Virgin 80mb bt, but still no lights come up joining rolo.

We need rolo to make rounds he needs us to test and test and test things right.
If all uk users get good ligts then it's cool for them to host.
this needs testing rolo it the war against lag.
And I can only vote Ian better than you, down to lights when you join.
That's saying all black is good and light gray not so good?

Hate to say, but what's the point? Hosting is fine right now.

Just spent a couple of hours testing on the Nordschleife and the cars generally seem well matched. Although you can't look into lap times there that much due to the lap length, I lapped all of them in 7m40s-7m50s. The two I feel may be slowest are the Jag and the Peugeot, but I'm going to keep at it and try and tune them better.

The Hyundai feels slow on the straights but corners well, the Peugeot understeers the most, Citroen feels slow and boring but is actually quite good, the Jag is very tail-happy, as is the BMW but not as bad, and the Nissan needs an extra gear lol.

I'm really tempted to go FR with the Merc but I don't think my testes are big enough to race FR so I'd like to reserve the Alfa for now please 👍

Rolo can you switch me over to the C63 - so much more fun to drive than the FF's

Put me as a Merc for now to please. Testing it and I am a second quicker than the Ford lol

I think the Ford might have to loose some weight!

One Alfa for you.

The final Merc (currently) for you.

I think the Ford might have to loose some weight!

Until I go out at 1360kg and it does faster times than everything else - everywhere. I should probably post my complete lap time data so far.

I may be switching to alfa but I dunno, no one seems to even try the Citroën so I may stick just because of that

But you must remember that we've got a New Driver, and two utter maniacs in the Ford this Season! :P

Driver talent is not really a reason to change car specs.

Yeah, I know... Still, I'll have a look into possible ways we could get an even match for the Focus 👍

Well we need to see how it gets on in a field race...

No room for snap decisions though. If someone is last because they can't drive it then it's not a reason to change it.

A word of caution for all considering I'm probably gonna be inundated with complaints like this before the 29th May.
