Right, testing evening (in more ways that one)..
Firstly, thanks for helping with the Pre-Q sim. Very helpful there. To all who weren't present, when the 8-minute Pre-Q session (which begins at 6.45pm UK time) ends, a 1-lap race will begin. Do NOT drive or leave the line. When results are noted, you will be told to quit the race. Non-qualifiers must leave the lounge. No need to repeat the sim next week since it's been done once and more or less everyone who needs to know about it knows (including stewards).
Secondly, shame about the Tokyo mass DC. Race was shaping up very nicely. The little race after shows it was just a one-off hopefully. Apparently some pit lag issues though? As said earlier, everyone who started the original race will get a point.
Thirdly, Indy race was interesting. The Renaults and Peugeots scampered off, more or less as expected for those circuits. Don't draw too many conclusions yet, although if it continues, something will be done. Renault in particular I think. It could be a car spec change, or I could introduce another more handling-based track instead to balance it. Driving standards could maybe do with a little improvement.
Fourthly, I'm scaling it back to 2 races a night for pre-season, which will put another week on it and will take the Nordschleife race away. Too many delays tonight and to be honest I think it's better not to rush through circuits and get some better quality data. Still don't know about my work schedule entirely yet, but still the possibility of delays. Will let you know as soon as I do.
Therefore next week will be Apricot Hill and Grand Valley Speedway. Laps/windows to be confirmed in the week.

Ford isn't that slow at 1380, but I do honestly feel it could do with 10kg off just to assess it at that. 1370kg is now the Ford spec.
Nissan could get increased, the Tokyo pole time (if it wasn't draft) is just beyond fast compared to the rest.
I think everything else is alright so far...
