I wasn't able to get tons of practice in, so lets see how I do? Thankfully we just ran here not to long ago'
 
2+ hours till Season 2 is go :)

Looking forward to the races as I don't seem to be getting any quicker
 
Seems the PSN servers are down on GT5. Hopefully back by 7pm. If not, I can't race.

I had problems signing in yesterday.. Weird?

But it's quite a win-win situation for me, if we manage to start the race that's fine, if we don't I can either play GT2 or think about what car to use next season or in my own series

I have to say there's a chance that I might not make it. We had some friends of my parents (the parents of one of my friends) at our place today and we've just begun cooking dinner. Just so you are aware of that.
 
I'm signed in and ready to go, other than not driving my car for a week... I should be alright though. 👍

Room is open now, No safety car for round the races at grand valley east :guilty:
 
Alright my GT is acting funny all of a sudden. I'm working it out lol. I'll be making my way in asap.

Anyone ever have the problem where you can move the cursor around but cant select anything? thats what I'm experiencing here....
 
I could fill in for your SC, if you want. (Bar I don't get my phantom lag :nervous:) I have been a SC before for a mate Mx5 TC series ;).

I read the rules etc, basicly I'm to pick up the leaders at T1, drive into pits when the race is going green at the start or after a SC period then park at end of the pit wall and wait to be called out again.

Nah, having a SC suddenly popping in between 2 races (and 2 weeks) seems a bit too awkward for me. I was (in my mind) hoping Geeky would postpone the official championship till next week :guilty:
My absence also means I can't steward on these races (PD, Y U NO REPLAY SHARE :ouch: )

From what I've seen, I'd say the driving standards have improved a bit. Although I wiped out the Purtek team in race 1, locked up a bit and nudged Geeky, but I let him through. The same thing happened in testing with captainhelmet, nothing I could do really :ouch: Then I had a bit of a scrap with sc61 but finished 4th just ahead of him...

Race 2 made my fingers ache a bit :lol: Finished 3rd after swapping positions with Joe and JB a few times. I'll be having nightmares about that salmon pink Audi in my mirrors tonight :lol:

Overall, pretty good :) One thing I notcied is that I passed one of the Alfas and it didn't seem to have any aero on it???

Race 2 went well. Dunno about race 1...congrats to johnboy for winning race 1...when going to the pitlane the computer reset me while going in for some reason. I was ahead by 10 seconds before the pit, I was only 3 seconds ahead after the pit...Something to be careful of in future races....

That's the interesting thing about the pits, both races I gained a postion because of it :D
 
Overall I enjoyed it, few naughty nudges by others and silly mistakes by me killed my chances, that's racing though. Glad karsten proved the vectra is finally mid table material!

I just hope my epic failed overtake on Rolo makes the review, just watched it and I'm still laughing like buggery.
 
a decent race 1 too bad i binned race 2... we're more or less where the car allows us.

Concerning the races, wonderful and clean fights with cunny and joetruck i guess i managed to resist cunny for 6 or 7 laps :D

also kudos to the correctness of joe that after sending me wide waited to give me my position _on_last_lap_.

no great complain about sc61 as usual :D when out of the box pulled a killer move on me almost sending me crashing and his tactic of constantly pushing the back and sides of the cars in front of him until they get wide or make a mistake is annoying to say the least.

beside that i really saw people driving's improved and we had 2 very nice and clean starts.
