Overall, pretty good :) One thing I notcied is that I passed one of the Alfas and it didn't seem to have any aero on it???

That was a fail on my part, a big one :lol: All this time I kept forgetting to put the thing on. *facepalm* After all that tuning and practice I placed horribly because of it. Alfa's fast on the straights but I was losing 5 seconds a lap lol. Hopefully next week I'll have a better effort. 👍
 
At least we are all happy with how it whent :D

Nice, didn't expect 2nd in drivers' (only just though :lol:)

Even better in the teams'... rolo is well quick 👍

A couple of small errors though...
- 'Cosworth' only has one 'T' in it
- And it's 'ICS plc'

I get fake pole, i understand that. But I missed race 1 which consequently means I missed out on quite a few points. That should be enough penalty right? So why the double penalty? I know I still get the win but I hope you understand the point im making....👍

Had to drive the socks off it though our straight speed is rather naff:yuck: BMW's easily the Integra of season 2 handling and speed.:indiff: (109.4) for KK with his dodgy pole:sly: that therefore i guess was without draft assistance.:nervous:
Lots of speed based tracks in season 2 Audi epic fail.:nervous:

GVS was definetely a track made for the focus. The focus is the best car for the fast tracks. I think all cars are even apart from vectra and alfa....The extra 100kg for the BMW has definetely hurt its handling. Alot more throttle control required...
 
The BMW is probably the quickest but it's pretty skittish

The Focus isn't the fastest in the corners but the straight line speed is great, so it's gonna be devastating at Monza I reckon. Having said all that, my new setup is pretty nice, there's not much understeer anymore 👍

I wouldn't call the BMW the Integra of S2 though, it's closer than that this time ;)

We haven't seen what the Alfas can do yet, because of the aero thing

Fast tracks also have corners ;)



Also guys; I would like to say thankyou for all helping my racing skills, it even works with boats:crazy:
1st in the beginners and 2nd in the finals, good publicity for the championship :sly:
 
@ Rob probably a bad comparison was my way of saying its maybe the best car.:sly:

@ KK I wouldnt say the likes of Monza have any particularly slow corners (where Audi comes into its own)

Besides let us Audi guys get our excuses in early no harm in that.;)

@ Geeky the grid entry system really need some work complete mess lastnight checks not carried out etc.:grumpy:

JBV8, the audi would be good at 1300kg I think. But unlike you when I was driving at 285hp last season, i"m already use to trying my hardest to stay in draft, or creative ways to break draft. This chassis is a duck sitting in water until s3'

Ya'll should try this tune. Cant remember where I got it from but I take no credit for this tune. All credit goes to the creator...

This is the tune I used when I tested the Audi around GVS...I'd tweak the brake balance...

For this series I think its ok since its only 11 or so mile stints....try her out and lemme know if she feels good...👍

You get huge understeer through corners!

I used this tune and it works fine for me...You need good brake control to avoid understeer. I managed a 1:09.9 around GVS....
 
Find me a tune that increases the straight speed and i'll change it until then me stick with what i got.:sly::D

yeah, we have 2laps and half quite ok before starting to lose half a second per lap :P

and this choosing deliberately a setup that makes tires last a little more at speed's cost :P

those extra kgs we bring along are quite killing...

what about in s3 freeing the tires (hard, medium and soft) and pitting time?

i wonder if we could complete a race without pits with hard compound...

anyway we would need some kind of help :P we're a FF cars that runs with ballast in the wrong place :D

BTW why do we make races at 305 hps when the game's checks at 310? i think someone exploited those extra 5hps in race....

shouldn't we lower it to 300hps?

as a last thing, if you guys have the time check the battle amongst me and the audis in race 1, it'll make you understand what i mean.

and it'll also be a great showoff of how all people should be racing in the serie 5 lap fight without a touch or dent to the cars and without pushes or unfair blocks.

310bhp?? Really man i missed a trick there then:ouch: Either 310 or 300 if thats the case makes perfect sense.👍
Another option for the future to save all the tyre issues is to run with tyre wear off being such short races its hardly a big deal and will benefit the Vectras.:)
