Sad to hear that Rob. Hopefully we can trade paints in the last few races to get your motivation up. Believe that's a fight I'm looking forward to :)

I agree, Rally needs to strech an engine out on the straights again :sly:
From what I saw at the High Speed Ring, a safety car is not the most important thing, we all seem clean, not take outs :)

There's no better way to say it Geeky :) SC was a (good?) idea but it's pretty boring to just sit there.. and wait.. and wait.. and wait.. and watch you have fun.. and wait again :lol:

Did that help on the motivation Rob?

You could always do safety car but just let the race leader be the safety car , just a thought
 
That could be possible Skeng, the problem is who should say when it happens (I suggest the victims) and who's to say when we're back to business (can be the leader when he sees all cars have caught up to the pack)?
 
Yeh the victims would have to declare safety car and then the race leader at the time would be the sc.

Its probably a longshot .

Its a tough job for someone to just be a sc driver and miss out on the fun .
 
I think the idea is not bad Skeng and I'll give you an A+ for that. I think the real problem is the "understand-and-follow" part :)

In my view the SC idea is good in principle, but the game makes it difficult to implement properly in how you can't view all the drivers at once when you're watching, added to the fact it's very difficult to get everyone to understand the little nuances of pitting, speed under the SC, restarting the race etc.

Besides, I'd rather have a full grid of racing drivers, rather than a 15-car field.
