Not really tbh.. I don't see the point and will be abused, probably. In calling out an SC someone's going to hold themselves up even longer if they've been caught in an accident.

and you're welcome Joe! :sly: It was a banker with the HSR setup, so yet to have a tweak. I won't be able to test until Thursday.
 
Just forget the safety car thing, stick to the racing

I've just done a few laps (well, 17 :lol:) and my best was a 1.44.7... :indiff:
 
Yeah I think no SC. just not feasible.
 
Just stick to the stewarding and penalties

I haven't done any Indy time recently but IIRC back when I tested this car for the season it was a 1:43-1:44ish time, without setup tuning :)

This is the hardest track we've raced at, no room for error at all

Sector 2 is costing me, on one lap I went from -0.2 to +0.3

had a pretty surprising practice session. PB in Focus 1:42:0xx, PB in Beemer 1:42:39x, PB in Civic 1:42:7xx

beemer is so agile in middle sectors but loses time on straights. Had a 3 lapper with rabbit and skeng, the Civic was pulling away despite me slipstreaming. skeng cut down a 8 tenth deficit simply by drafting in the banking. Starting from back :scared: and no race 2 for me. Need to win remaining races if im to have any chance of winning the champs.
 
So in the end there was no penalties to the ones that rammed me out last race?

Hope this will be kept in mind from now on.

I dont have race 2 replay. Been singing it the whole week. Dont think that Im picking on you or anything.

I don't know if there'll be a space tomorrow (rolo, please :)) but if there is I'm sure Geeky won't mind if I invite you, seeing how good a driver you are :sly: looking forward to race you here anyway 👍

I don't tend to jump into new series mid season. Besides, have we ever ACTUALLY raced side-by-side on a track before? Wait, that's a reason why I should join tomorrow. Wait, tomorrow meaning not Thursday? Tomorrow meaning Friday? At what time?
 
OK, you got me there.. But you know what I mean. It's Friday at 19:00 bst :sly:
 
BST is GMT+1. So said in another way it's 18 GMT :sly:
 
So confused. :scared: If I take five hours away from 19:00 BST, I get 14:00 in my current timezone. But, if I do the same thing, for 18:00 GMT, I get 13:00 GMT-5.


I'm in GMT-5. It would be GMT-4 in summer time. So, 19:00 BST is 18:00 GMT, then minus 4.. I guess that makes sense? So, 14:00 GMT-4?

Those were r1 accidents else i wouldn't have said anything. Or where the warnings due tothat?

1. BMW 330i/Audi S3/Honda Civic/Ford Focus
2. There's usually 12-13 people per night so there's always space
3. answer Q1 first ;)
 
You're right on it being 14:00 your time Mel. I don't know about car though. I've kinda lost track of it :)
