Which car should i save up for. The bugatti or gran turismo f1 (both from OCD). Which is better to drive/race and which can earn you more money?
TimminzYou'll never NEED a Veyron. You will need a FGT if you want to complete A-spec and/or B-spec.
Also, as mentioned above, the Veyron is a prize car (as is the X2010). Don't waste your money on either (he says after buying a half-dozen Veyron's and a couple X10's).
You can qualify for the 650PP races but you won't be able to win them because the Veyron is a brick on weels. If i get veyron i can race 650pp races but with fgt i cannot. I want to earn a lot of money with seasonals

None of those, probably one of the best cars to do 650pp seasonals is the McLaren F1 Race Car.
kennylmaoBecause that car is like a 'cheating car' in those 650PP Seasonals!![]()

The Veyron and FGT are 2 completely different types of cars. Street car vs Formula One car.

IceMan PJNThe Formula Gran Turismo ("Formula GT", "FGT") isn't a Formula One car. It's a generic open-wheel formula car along the lines of an F1 car, but not an F1 car.
As has been said, get the Formula GT, because it's not only better but you actually have no choice but to get it if you want to complete all events, since there's an entire race series that's exclusively restricted to just the FGT.
That aside, the Veyron is an overhyped turd on wheels. It's impressive on paper, and indeed fast in a straight line, but that's the extent of it. Some fanboys will defend it by suggesting that you simply need to adjust your driving accordingly, adjusting for its relatively high weight (for a supercar) and relatively poor cornering ability, but the need to adjust for these things just means that it's a drunken pig that lacks supercar handling. Realistically, several other supercars can get around a circuit faster than the Veyron, despite having less power and lower top speeds than the Veyron. The FGT isn't just good in a straight line, but is good everywhere.
Give me a proper supercar and you race me in a Veyron, and I'll win. You won't find anywhere that you actually get to do 250+ MPH, so me hitting 200, 210, or 220 will be just fine, but I can also brake faster and corner at much higher speeds. When you're using half a mile to brake for a corner (not a literal distance here), I'll sail by since I don't have to brake so early, and when you're passing through the corner at 50 MPH I'll have already went through it at 80. Then when we get to a straight you figure "Ahah! I've got you now, with my super-high top speed!" except the straight isn't several miles long, which is what you need to take a Veyron near its top speed.
Fgt is MILES more fun! probably the most challenging car in the game, plus its the second fastest car in the game too. The bugatti is boring and only useful in a straight line.

The Veyron is only a drag car. As Ross has already mentioned it is a brick on wheels. The car is over 2 tons (?). It has no agility in corners at ALL. It is a better on SSR7 or Route X, but no other track really UNLESS you spend a lot of time detuning and adjusting the car just right so it could be competitive. You better off in an F1 no matter what you do.
YellowBird23I agree with you, the veyron is only versatile for dragging or dashing out at a long straight without obstacles on the road, at a circuitous track with relatively snaky layout the car isn't really nimble due to its extreme tardiness stemming from its excessively heavy weight, as opposed to powerful specification. Even the right selection of tires will not be a solution as the tyres cannot fully sustain the monstrous combination of vehicular weight and horsepower, and detune itself can be a pain for necessity of unreserved exchange in various parts of the body and engine.
If you're just considering what is the best for earning more money in a shorter period, the FGT is far more recommendable in every aspect what you do.
And the weight is about 1,800 kg(not 2 tons but near the border) if my memory serves me correctly.![]()
The way this game throws money at you nowadays with the seasonals, you might as well get both.
