For tracks, more variants of the Tokyo Expressway. I love me some more Wangan Midnight.

For cars, since they included the Aston Martin Vulcan, they should also bring in purpose-built track day cars like the following:

Pagani Zonda R
Ferrari FXX
Ferrari 599XX
Ferrari FXX-L
McLaren P1 GTR

For a massive update, they should bring back classic JDM sports cars and Tuner Village, complete with aftermarket body parts. Kaz wanted us to represent our nation and favorite manufacturer, right? Why not allow us to represent our favorite tuner? ;)

I'd like to see the inclusion of real roads for some A to B racing, like an Alpine pass, Transfăgărășan pass etc etc.

Car wise more road going cars but I'm not holding out as it's aimed more towards circuit racers and such. I'm really interested to see what they add and what direction the game takes.

Maybe some Group 5/ DRM / IMSA GTO cars pack.

DRM:
- Porsche 935, Ford Capri, Ford Escort, Lancia Beta Montecarlo, BMW 320, BMW M1, BMW 3.0 CSL, Lancia Stratus;

Fuji Super Silhouette
- Toyota Celica, Nissan Skyline R30, Nissan Silvia.

IMSA GTO:
- Porsche 935, Audi 90 Quattro, Toyota Celica, Mazda RX7, Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, Chevy Corvette, Chevy Monza, Ferrari F40, Nissan 300ZX.

Since they all run on Group 5 regulations variations, they could race togheter with no problems!

With the focus on modern cars and I'll create some packs with a reasonable variety of cars and tracks.

An FIA World Rally Championship pack, featuring the 2017 World Rally Cars including the Ford Fiesta, Citroen C3, Hyundai I20 and Toyota Yaris.

This pack may not happen on the basis that another developer has the rights to the WRC licence, but maybe GT's ties with the FIA itself could in theory make such a pack happen.

Sticking to a rally theme, my alternative would be the 'Retro Rally' car pack, including the following:

Subaru Impreza WRC 1998
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI WRC 2001
Ford Focus WRC 1999
Lancia Delta HF Integrale Group A 1992

Those are just a few examples. I could list a countless number of others. Some of you may notice that the cars I've listed are cars which have appeared in previous GT games, but none of these cars have had the premium treatment. It would be simply amazing to have such cars in the game :)

really surprised that the P1 and especially 918 are missing given that they finally have the Porsche license.
I sense that PD will be looking to those cars for future DLC. Another car which I think they should add is the Ford GT. If GT Sport is pitching itself as an ultra-modern racing game, hypercars would presumably be top priority. The LaFerrari is a good start though :)

Micros, City and Kei Cars DLC:
1960 BMW 700RS
1974 Bond Bug
1961 Buckle Goggomobil Dart
2001 Corbin Sparrow
2014 Daihatsu Copen Robe
1980 Fiat 126
2015 Honda S660
1966 Mini Monaco
1959 PTV
2011 Reva G-Wiz
2006 Smart Roadster
1997 Suzuki Cappuccino
1995 Think City Bee
1988 Trabant 800 RS

More career stuff is a given. I’ve beat the whole thing all Gold and I need the career mode to come back lol. More races, more cares and tracks. Seasonal Races would be a great thing too!

I was really shocked, when I learned that there are no classic GT tracks. GT for me has always been its amazing tracks, I don't care for cars (don't even have one in RL.
Where are Trial Mountain, Apricot Hill, Grand Valley(!), Deep Forest, Special Stages, Tokyo R246(!)Seattle, Rome, El Capitan, Citta di Aria, ...?
One major reason why I always preferred GT to other racers was its emphasis on their Original (i.e. fantasy) courses instead of real-life purpose-built World courses.

I think they should release monthly packs of 1 track and 1 car pack a month. the car pack would have 7 cars and 4 tracks.
The first track pack:
Silverstome
laguna seca
spa
circuit de La sarthe
The first 7 cars.
Lamborghini aventador sv
Nissan r34 gtr
Porsche 911 group b
abarth 124 spider
mclaren p1
audi rs5
dodge challanger hellcat

MISC:
- New Car Manufacturer Logos for use in Livery editor
- New WEC, FIA, Le Mans 24 logos
- New WEC style number plates
- New Helmets and Race suits

The reason I picked the Ford GT and not others is, well.....we kinda already have the Chevy, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, and BMW "GTE" cars in Gr. 3 and I am not 100% sure where GTE would fit in aside from Gr.3. Although it would be nice to have some LMP2 cars but I feel like if there was going to be a Gr.2 it would be either GT1 or SuperGT.

Tracks that should be added:
Circuit de la Sarthe

circuit of the Americas

GT Sport Essentials game update patch:

General:
It is no longer required to remain online to save and use the following features for total freedom of the game:

  • Home
  • Livery Editor
  • My Library
  • Mileage Exchange
  • Campaign
  • Brand Central
  • Scapes

However it is still required for social and online gaming features (Notifications and Activity Feed), Sport mode, online lobbies, and Discover mode.

  • For hybrid cars, hybrid power usage, consumption and generation is now shown on the HUD.
  • Supercharged cars also get the same forced induction boost display in the HUD like those of turbocharged cars.
  • In Home, when you select "View Car", you can also select "Studio Scenes" as if the car were in Brand Central and that you can preview them with free 360-degree camera rotation like when using the livery editor.
  • In "My Library", you can choose which songs can be used for races, menus and slideshows like in GT6.
  • The Data Logger from GT6 returns. Simply save a best lap replay and it will analyze the telemetry of your lap in graph form or more.
New cars:
These new cars are bundled as part of an update and will be directly added to both Brand Central and Arcade Mode. 50 new cars will come as part of the update.

New features:

Arcade Mode:

  • All cars in the game are available as rental cars for Arcade Mode. Any DLC cars or cars added through updates will also end up here as rental cars besides being purchasable in Brand Central. This applies to Single Race, Time Trial, Drift Trial, VR Tour, Split-Screen and Custom Races. However you cannot upgrade their performance using Mileage currency and you can only use factory colors. Upgraded performance and custom liveries will require you to buy the car itself. You can also still use Garage cars in Arcade Mode as an added option.
  • The car selection in Arcade Mode is as follows: Garage, Karts, Gr. N (select from all N-class sub-classes), Gr. X, Gr. 4, Gr. 3, Gr. 1 and then Gr. B.
  • Qualifying Sessions and Practice have been added to Custom Races. They have the same parameters as endurance races, and if you add qualifying and practice to your race session you will get extra money and XP. Only Qualifying Sessions have been added to 2-Player Battle. (NOTE: As a result of qualifying sessions being added to the game, it is definitely likely to earn the "Certified Genius" trophy faster.)
  • Certain parameters have been added in order to enhance the Arcade Mode experience, such as:

The addition of false start checks on grid starts (Race settings)

The ability to show visual damage or not (Car settings)

The ability to allow cars upgraded to a certain N-class sub-class or not (Car settings)

Power, weight, tire, drive type and aspiration limits (Car settings)

Detection of wall collisions (Penalty settings)

    Side collision penalties (Penalty settings)
NOTE: If you set "Allow Upgrades" to on, cars, like for example, a fully upgraded Subaru WRX STI Type-S '14 (originally at N300 class, upgraded to 566hp) can race against N600 cars. If you set it to off, only cars from a certain N-class sub-class can race against each other.

Online:
  • Qualifying Sessions and Practice, in the similar vein to Arcade Mode, has been added.
  • You can also race Arcade Mode rental cars online, through the lobbies only. However you can still use cars from your garage as an added option.
  • You can now do Endurance races in Online mode in the similar vein to custom races in Arcade Mode. You can also adjust the rolling start interval as well if applied.

You can also still use Garage cars in Arcade Mode.
  • Qualifying Sessions and Practice have been added to Custom Races. They have the same parameters as endurance races, and if you add qualifying and practice to your race session you will get extra money and XP.
  • Once you make the AI's cars set to a specific car into a certain car class in Custom Races, they will simply be locked to that car class, as opposed to other cars that were originally not in that class racing against cars of that class.
  • Multi-class racing has also been added, in which you can segregate your opponents' car classes to your liking in Custom Races.
Online:
  • Qualifying Sessions and Practice, in the similar vein to Arcade Mode, has been added.
  • You can also race Arcade Mode rental cars online, through the lobbies only.
  • You can now do Endurance races in Online mode in the similar vein to custom races in Arcade Mode. You can also adjust the rolling start interval as well if applied.
