My ideas of DLC packs would make sure that the contents would either fit into a pre-existing class, or creates a new one in the process. For example, if I wanted Group C racers to return, I'd make the new group "Gr.1 Retro," and if I wanted to make a group for 90s sports cars with 300 HP, I'd call it "N300 Retro" or something like that, with an individual event being able to limit cars if people want to just race JDM classics like the Supra Mk.IV or R34 GT-R. I'd also potentially put some concept cars, one-off cars, or special editions into Gr.X for one-make races, perhaps such as some cars that are too extreme to otherwise fit into a pre-existing class.

Well, here´s my DLC list. All classics

And all the the other Lotus from Gran Turismo Games (especially the sport beta and GT2).

This is the kind of description from GT2 that made the game magical for me:

There have been three competition versions of the Lotus Elise. All have modifications for lighter weight, increased safety - full roll cages are specified - and even better handling than the stock Elise. The first was the Elise GT1. A carbon-fiber body covered a version of the Elise bonded-aluminium backbone chassis modified to take a 3.5 liter twin-turbo Lotus Esprit V8 Engine. In street tune, it had the same 350 hp as the Esprit; in race tune "over 550 hp" was available in a car weighing under 2.000 lbs. The suspension was to full competition specification, and 14-inch disc brakes with 6-piston calipers provided immense stopping power. The Sport Elise 190, offered from 1997, was intended for circuit use only, with increased power: 190 hp at 7.000 rpm, with 140 lb/ft of torque at 5.650 from the Elise four-cylinder engine and a suspension calibrated for track use. With weight under 1.500 lbs, the track-ready car could do 0-62 mph in a supercar-like 4.4 seconds. The Motorsport Elise of 1999 takes the concept of the Sport Elise 190 a step further. Designed for a one-make racing series run by the factory at various European venues, the Motorsport Elise features redesigned bodywork with an aerodynamic hardtop, competition suspension, and a race-spec 200 hp version of the Elise four-cylinder engine. Like the Sport 190, is meant for competition use only, with no street version available.

Id love to have some more real tracks in game. Not having Laguna Seca, Spa, etc is a crime, imo. Car wise Im really missing Japanese flavor. Im a Z fanatic so gimme a 370Z for sure! Would love to see all the classics as well, Supras, Rx7s, R32, 33, 34 Skylines, all that stuff. Just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no more Vision GT cars and fake tracks!!! Id also love a track editor but I know thats not gonna happen. Oh, maybe some night time and rain!
Definitely. A Zed pack with various guises of 350/370 would be great.

Euro spec facelift 370Z pls

I'd be okay it they add...

Honda HSV Weider
(Maybe) Formula GT2017
Red Bull X2017
GT500/GT300 Class cars. (Yes, I'm one of the few that drove them, don't judge me.)
Maybe some Group C cars/Introducing the Group C class.

Oh, and something really interesting, Vintage Racing Cars
Auto Union
Daimler Rekordwagen
Alfa Romeo etc.
WE need GT500 And DTM and Monaco

My packs:

First DLC : 30 new tracks, 300 new cars, free DLC :D
Second DLC: 50 new tracks, 500 new cars, free DLC :D

Seriously, DLC have to be totally free... We paid the game 60€ with lack of tracks and cars, OK. So now, they have to complete/finish the content for free.

Concerning tracks, I don't see how it CAN'T be free. If we have only 3 events/tracks in sport mode per week, imagine that these 3 tracks are from DLC => a lot of people won't be able to play it even if they paid the basic game + PS+! Impossible.
Concerning cars, I think that some of them won't be free because we don't really need new cars to compete online. We already have FF, FR, RWD, 4WD in each Group.

For me, I think tracks and cars are needed to make this game interesting. I'm not going to get into all the fine details about what cars, etc, but I will throw some examples out there, just to wet the taste buds.

Cars: This game seems to specifically and very directly ignore many cars form this era, and the past eras that should be here. Obviously, not all of them can be listed, but some examples of cars that are missing, and should be added:

Fiat 500 Abarth
BMW E46 M3 and CSL
BMW i8
Nissan R34 Skyline GTR
McLaren P1
Porsche 918
Ferrari La Ferrari
Many more could be added, and in some cases, should be added. I don't want the GT of old, meaning 400 versions of the Skyline, but it would be nice it get some of the older ones in the game. Same with BMW, Audi and Porsche oldies, like the E30 M3, Air cooled 911s and things like the RS6 wagon, older quattro etc. You get the picture. I want to see more cars that we actually drive as well (even though I drive an M3).

As for tracks, it has already been said. Real world tracks, and fantasy GT tracks. All of them. Apricot Hill is my favorite classic track, but add the rest too. I want them all. I wanna race everywhere I can. Applying the same time of day stuff to all those older tracks would be fantastic. the short list?

Tracks:

Apricot Hill
Grand Valley
Trial Moutain
Spa
Monza
Silverstone
Le Mans
Leguna Seca
Monaco
Road Atlanta
Road America
Limerock Park
Sebring
Daytona (Regular and 24hr track)
St Petersburg (indy circuit)
Barber
Sonoma
Watkins Glen
Mid Ohio
VIR
Long Beach

I think if we had the fantasy and real tracks added, 400 more cars and a real career mode, along side the livery editor, sport mode, etc, etc, etc this game would be yuuuuuge.

I just can't help but feel slightly cheated out of my Gran Turismo experience. How long has it been PD? 5 years? 6 years? What were you doing all that time?

This is the only thing that annoys me tbh... they've had 5 or 6 years to put more in than they did.

I can't even begin to understand the level of work that goes into making one of these games, but I do know that Rockstar took 5 years and created one of the best games ever made, that became one of the biggest selling games ever.

So the fact that PD can take a similar amount of time and release something which is largely lackluster and empty, is disappointing.

On the plus side, the online racing, minus the stupid penalty system, is pretty good so far.

But pretty good isn't good enough for 5 years

I mean, FWIW, GT6 had a ton of free stuff added post-release. New cars (even if we don't count the VGTs), new tracks, entirely new game modes like the Time Rally, and a far more precise track maker. Of the four years from GT6's release to that of GTS, we don't know how many of those years were spent expanding the life of GT6. We also don't know what assets may have still been in development for GTS, but weren't done in time for launch, but still could come in an update. Just look at the .svg uploader, for example - they're planning to fully integrate that later on to prevent overwhelming online traffic.

And we have confirmation that more stuff in general *is* coming to GTS, including for the single-player portion.

This is the only thing that annoys me tbh... they've had 5 or 6 years to put more in than they did.
They spoke about this. At some point well into development they had to make a choice and decided to start all over again. Can you just imagine having to make the hard choice to abandon your work so you don't feel like you are wasting even more time?

So this game isn't the product of 5 years work.

Anyway I want more tracks primarily. I prefer the interesting ones with lots of elevation changes.

GT Sport Rivalry Game Update Patch:

New features:

Custom Championships has been added to Arcade Mode. It basically has the same features as the updated Custom Races, only that you can set the number of rounds, and that you can also manually choose your opponents' cars and rename them, like in Assetto Corsa.

Dynamic weather on all tracks has been implemented, but not dynamic time of day as that will remain static. Therefore rain tires have been implemented for their proper use. The weather simulation is similar to that of Project CARS 2 and Forza Motorsport 7 where there are even rain puddles modeled on the track.

New cars:

These new cars will be directly added to Arcade Mode as rental cars and Brand Central once the update is installed.

As of my Custom DLC:

More FIA certified tracks from all over the world (there are some really wonderful circuits out there - Argentina has plenty of them for example)...

Slovakiaring (just personal wish ^^, if it is not licensed to any other game) - part of a central european DLC pack
Brno International Circuit - part of a central european DLC pack
Most International Circuit - part of a central european DLC pack
Pannoniaring - part of a central european DLC pack
Motor Park Romania - part of East european DLC pack
etc...

Cars - there was a plenty of cars in earlier installments which could come back to GT Sport, maybe to add some Skoda cars, like Fabia, Octavia, Rapid etc...

But all I really have is a shout into the dark:

Hey PD! Let's make the biggest game of all time!
Let's make one world, no more new games (installments, unless new gen hardware comes out), just fix all known issues, tune up the game and physics engine to be as close to RL as possible and then just continue to add stuff to make it BIG! ^^
I wouldn't mind to pay for new content added into that kind of game! (IKR, nice dream, but never comes true ˇˇ)
