I had a tough run on the stunt run as well. It was the last piece of the offline game I finished before the Island came out and I completed challenges. In my first run through the game, I avoided all the stunt runs entirely for my first few licenses.

I tried to recall your path by memory last night and made all the way round to the shortcut getting off I-88. I was up in the 20x range, just simply ran out of boost and lost the combo. I think I got stiffed a few times by not getting an extra multiplier for flat spinning through a billboard. I’m sure I could finish this one up if I get a few hours.

Good luck mate. 👍
If you need help on doing challenges, feel free to ask, I'm always ready to help. :)

For 20X Boosting, I used the Kitano Hydros (Custom or Techno doesn't matter) and went on I-88 reverse. I held down the accelerator and boost for the whole time but tapped the brakes every now and then. Got the achievement within 2-3 tries I think.

At first I used the SI-7 because it's the slowest speed boost car, but it can't generate boost fast enough, even at full speed, so I kept failing to chain burnouts (especially at high multipliers). I also tried the WTR, but the handling is way too twitchy for me.

For Stunt Run, see this video. It's the route I followed (with a few modifications) when I got my 40X Multiplier and Millionaire achievements. I used the Jansen P12. Biggest tip is to slow down. It might be tempting to just boost all the time, but don't boost unless the timer almost fills up. Brake and turn around if you miss a ramp. Every jump counts. Avoid blind corners or you'll crash into traffic. Practice doing barrel rolls so you can always nail those split ramps right. In the end, practice practice practice.

Good Luck 👍.

Many thanks to Jonesy who helped me to about 30 challenges last night... until I realised I needed to be awake in 6 hours time to goto work - and I hadn't gone to sleep!!

I believe that in my opinion Burnout Paradise is the best racing game for consoles mainly down to the free roam, online mode and loads of downloadable content both free and paid, I was wondering if anyone still plays it cause I see loads of server plus what is the price for cobs and robbers pack cause ps store is down.

Burnout Paradise is good, but honestly, I think Burnout 3 was the best out of all of them. I still play Burnout 3 a lot these days and I even use it to release some steam in road rage events. :D

Not to mention, Burnout 3 actually had drivers inside the cars, but that's just nitpicking on my part.

But in all seriousness, while free roam in Paradise was a good idea, I think it was implemented poorly. It was such a huge pain pulling up the map every several seconds to find the way to events and finding the best route to get to the finish line in a race. Just giving us a list of events to do on closed tracks was a lot better and less of a headache IMO. This was just one of the things that prevented it from being the best for me.

I don't think the open-world was implemented poorly at all. Needing to pull up a map is definitely not a flaw on the game's part, but the player's own memory... Took me a week to remember most things, but after hitting all gates, billboards and whatnot, you begin to memorize these things and they are extremely valuable when doing freeburn challenges. Just a week or two ago I popped the game back in having not played it for nearly 7 months and I was still able to remember the good shortcuts and not stick to main roads during races.

I just hated navigating in this game. That's all I'm saying. It wasn't like I was lost without the map. I did enjoy the free roam when I was looking for billboards, super jumps, cars to shutdown, etc. But finding events was a bit of a chore for me, especially when there are other racing games with free roam I've played with more convenient navigating like NFS Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Midnight Club, etc.

It wouldn't have hurt to have an arrow pointing to where you need to go after selecting a destination on the map.

Events occur at Intersections and it's certainly not hard locating an intersection on your map. If you drive pass one the event is unlocked and will appear on your map. So all you had to do was look for intersections with no event icon.
