I think the games are region free. Playing DVD's will not be.

It's up to the developers if a PS3 game will be made region free or not.

The Best Buy stores in Kentucky only have 30 units and there were definitely more than that already camped out. I don't know about you guys, but I can wait a year.

Looks like it was even worse than this. A woman my wife works with called the Lexington Best Buy to see if she should even try and they said they only had six PS3s in stock.

I could've purchased a PS3 20GB bundle pack from Circuit City online store, but didn't do it. It had a Playstation 3 console (20GB), wireless controller, NBA '07, Madden NFL 07 and Call of Duty 3.

I don't qualify to post it on eBay. Then what? Put an add in the paper? Where I live? If the mexicans see I have a PS3, they'll want to come to my house and then rob me. No thanks. I don't like putting myself or my family at risk for just a couple of bucks.

I still have a used HDTV sitting in my garage. Eventually, I'll find somebody who needs one and either offer them it for free or for a low price. That's what I usually do with the stuff I don't want or use anymore.

So, why would I buy something I don't want and don't plan to sell? I wouldn't, so I didn't.

One is going for $25K!!!

All I know is that I'm not going to get one until next year for 2 reasons.
1. Availability will go up and prices will go down
2. It will be 6 moths until Sony will get the problem fixed (that you cant play PS2 or PSX games on it).

I dont see why people are buying the 20GB version, If you really are looking to buying a new gaming console why wouldnt splash out on the full package! Plus the 20GB version looks lame without the chrome trim.....
