Buying extra parts?

So I saw somewhere a picture of someones items list. There were several parts and stage 2, 3 engine mods and so on. My question is how do you do that? I must be slow because I couldn't figure it out.

You buy the parts, but you do not install them while you are in the Tuning area. Then, they will appear in your list to be installed in the current car that you are in, if the car can have the parts, of course. 👍

Yeah just get in a car and buy the parts but do not install them. But keep in mind that there is an 'items limit'.

The "items limit" is 7000 items

This does not include cars and museum cards.

2000 limit on cars and no limit on cards.

Also, any parts that have been gifted to you will appear in the Items List, too. Just FYI.

My list had a bunch of dirt and snow tires on it. In the past, I would buy them, but not install them until later.

I hit it a few weeks ago

Had to transfer the complete set of helmets and suits to another account as that's about 1800!!

Delete doubles of helmets/suits and paints you don't need loads of.

Now that you can buy parts from any tunning menu I dont see the need to keep parts.
