No, it doesn't.


It can change the handling, acceleration, etc slightly, but the differences are, if there are any, hardly noticeable. We can see it sometimes on SSRX though when we tune for drag racing.

I'd have noticed it while tuning cars for drag. I tuned hundred of cars, but it never affected the gear ratios. And the differences in time are in the range of a few hundredth seconds or nothing, depending on the car.

Quite. I used to calculate speeds for each gear, but frankly as I don't drag race, it became a little tedious. I never noticed any difference between stock and aftermarket wheels ... which is pretty poor on PDiddy's behalf, because they've modelled tyre size...
