"Reach the finish line and win with one percent or less of your fuel remaining"

Any tips on what race would be the easiest to do this on in the S class mini enduros? Been trying to find the right cars to give them a try, but have been failing miserably lol. Any help guys, would be greatly appreciated.

You could try doing Le Mans using one of the newer Le Mans cars like the Peugeot or the Audi R8 or R18. Those diesels get great gas mileage.

Pick very first race of NOVICE, the one on HSR, follow lead cars for 2 laps, line up even with him at the final corner of lap 2, and slightly edge forward til you're just ahead.
No point wasting time doing loooong races.

Ignore. Mind was...when typing that.

Completely different trophy.

I got it yesterday on the 20 mile Willow springs race. I was driving the 06 Ford GT stock when I went into the pits for fuel I just reduced the default amount by 1 liter and had enough fuel to cross the line for the win and get the trophy very easy to get.

Hi.
I got mine on Brands Hatch "Enduro"
The AI pitted twice because it started raining. I stayed out on Racing Hards and ran out off fuel 2/3 thirds the way round the last lap, still cruised to victory as i had only pitted once.
I use the GTR R35 Touring Car.

Good luck

If you don't mind using bugs (and if it hasn't been fixed yet), use any fast car and drive to the top of the field. If you run out of fuel, just pause the game and restart the race, you'll get the trophy afterwards.

I got it the same way just used a TommyKaira ZZII when I pit it asked me to fill 44L left it as is and by the main straight the fuel icon was flashing red.

Did the same with some car, pitted halfway through the event and remove 2 liters, I ran out of fuel 200 meters from the finish line but did win.

IA Series (RED Square)

Race 1: Win
Race 2 : Win
Race 3 : Skip
Race 4: 5th Place
Race 5: Mash the 2 cars that are first in the leaderboard until they fall to like 12-5th place and then win the race.

Preffered Car: Monster Sport Cars

Wrong trophy.

Just did it, guys. On 24 minutes of Spa. Decided to detune a Formula GT (I know, easy mode), but became really difficult to stay in first during that race when it was raining and then it got dark... I realized how much I need to contact the officials at Spa to add more light to that track at night. Scary to say the least and if I hadn't accidentally left the driving line on, I would have been royally screwed lol.

You can turn the driving line off in the pause menu now. 👍
I used it for the night races too. :D (Except lit ones, like Daytona and Clubman 5, etc)

I did the coffee break challenge as suggested above and crossed the line with 1% remaining and didn't get the trophy..

I got that in one of the Super endurances, I think it was Brands Hatch.

I had a huge lead in P1 and milked the car by short-shifting the entire last lap.

Thought I was going to run out of gas after Stirlings Bend, so I just coasted from there.

BY SKIN OF YOUR TEETH TROPHY
**FOOL PROOF WAY**
Well I found it easy to achieve done this way.

Get yourself a Nissan GT-R R35 Touring Car, beef it to 641PP by tuning. Then head to Super: Apricot Hill Raceway 20 Minute Challenge.
You'll have about 7 laps to work your way through field full gas then pit before you start 8th lap, even if not in 1st. Max your fuel when you pit, you'll drop down in the teens or just below them while pitting. But then work your way back and into 1st as the other cars pit or you catch the car in 1st....just full gas it all the way.
When in 1st just keep an eye on time left in race and your fuel, done right you eventually can cruise and still get a good lead on 2nd place car just by lapping other cars.
Watch laps and run so that you go into a 15th lap, make sure with enough fuel to get round but by this time you can glide and no one will catch you. If you get round and fuel is still remaining and not red yet you should have 30+ secs to handbrake and run back up track a few times to burn it off, no car will take 1st while you get fuel tank to go red. Then when fuel is gone just cross line and you'll get trophy :)

I found it very easy to get on Willow springs, mind you I haven't been trying to get any trophies but in this one case I did reduce the fuel by 1 liter during the pit stop and got the trophy on the first and only try. I have since then ran that race several more times and have ran out of fuel in a few other cars without reducing the fuel and in the car I used the first time it does not run out but is low enough at the end to get the trophy. That track also has a nice long straight so if you run out of fuel a good ways before the line you can still coast across with a good bit of speed for the win.

It would be easy to do it every time with the Ford GT 06 and minor power upgrades

I did the Suzuka 20 minute race (or whatever it is in S races) and used an Audi R18. Just do the race and add the reccommended fuel when you pit. Then before you finish just rev your engine. You will have plenty of time to di this if you have little or no mistakes. Gas will deplete easily. 👍

I used the R18 on the Suzuka race and on the pit-stop I chose to get 5 litres less than it advised me and I ended up running out of fuel before the final bend, thus earning my trophy.

I like to let trophies "happen".

I got the By the skin of your teeth trophy on the Willow Springs endurance race when my car was knocked off the track by AI at high speed. I looked at the map and saw that I was already well on my way to a huge cut across a long sweeping turn. Since I never cut, I wondered if the game would let me make it across. I made it, but I got reset back to where I left the road. Then I was thinking about the cut, and not my fuel gauge, when I ran out of gas on the home straight, coasted over the finish line and got the trophy.

Worst part was, I thought it was 20 laps, not 20 minutes, or whatever it is, so I was completely surprised when I won the race. I was getting ready to start over.

I got mine at the suzuka 10 lap race, ran out of fuel on the last chicane accidentily but won the race anyway and the trophy

On the Willow Springs race, I reduced the fuel by 2 liters when I pitted, then ran out of gas on the straight right before the finish. Got the trophy first try.

I got mine on the Willow Springs endurance too! Although mine was a lot different. I used a tuned 430 Scud which was very twitchy on cold tires to begin with but then was fine later on. I climbed my way to about 4th before the leaders started pitting so I was left in the lead on my own. My tires weren't that bad (about 5 fronts and 6 rears) so I stayed out, and with a few laps left I did some quick calculations and worked out that I could (just) make it to the end without pitting, so I didn't. On the final lap my tires were wrecked (2 front and 3 rears) so I slowly crawled along to the end. On the final corner my heart nearly stopped when I ran out of fuel, as the rest of the field were on fresh tires and catching fast but I just managed to coast over the line winning by 2 seconds.
