How come there isn't a Monaco track in 2 Player Mode?
and how come there isn't a Complex String Track in Single Race?

Probably because Monaco is too dang narrow for a two player race.
And "the String" take's almost twice as long to lap as SSR 11.

Yeah, but both of them are a helluva lot more fun than SSR11. I was wondering why those tracks weren't in two player myself.

LOL. I do a bit of 6 player i.linking and you can race Monaco in that mode. And it is very narrow, practically impossible to pass without contact or being let through - just like the real track.

It is one of my favourites though, although a strong defence of position is all too likely to see you helped into the wall.

Actually you might be right about this as a reason its not there.

Can you imagine how much more programming the game would need to make it possible for every ai arcade car to run cs with an acceptable level of competitive racing.

I mean, the track takes forever to race and is twice as difficult as any other track.

There is no way they could put all those arcade cars on cs without some major work.

Although some here would say cote is to narrow for 2 player, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who hasn't done the same enduro your talking about.

Fact is... many here have said that cote should be in two player and just as many have given their own opinions as for why they might not have. (even with disagreing about it being left out.)

No reasons as for why they didnt want cote in two player... only speculation about why it might not have been included.

Monaco is a real race track where more than 1 car races at a time and the races go for about 2 hours. In various reviews I have seen it is said that GT3 is generous in its width on this track compared to other games.

Monaco deserves to be raced on. It isn't in 2 player mode because the developers chose not to.

Complex String is comples and long and as has been said it would probably take a lot of programming to get all the AI Cars right here.

I am not sure that a lot more intelligent stuff can be said on the topic.

I for one am looking forward to doing the Cote endurance again and I am not looking forward to doing the Complex String TT (too much to remember).

Actually, this isn't the place for lap times, either. If you read the Acceptable Use policy and look at the Forums Index, you will find the appropriate way to post and where to post. If this \/\/ill character is a friend of yours, I suggest you either get him under control or distance yourself from him immediately. His career is not going to be a long one at GTPlanet.

We are best buds and I was at his hosue last night. And if my IP has a problem with it they can come talk to me about it . And yes we were both obnoxious becuase it was 2 in the morning and we were on a sugar high and he has a nice big ego. And we will keep with lap time stuff were it should be next time.
