Apparently tomorrow they will unveil the details on this car. Who is looking forward to this being added to GT6? Considering all other models have been added, I think it's inevitable that it will be.

GT6 is supposed to add (some) cars to the in game dealer as they come out in real life. They did that with the M4 but we knew long ahead of time it would happen. No such news with the Z06.
We had the C7 prototype and a stream of news of it coming to GT5. No such news with the Z06.

Nice leaked info on the Z06. Considering the higher torque than horsepower, it doesn't seem this model is supercharged or it has a much different setup than the LS9 to provide that amount of ft-lbs. If it does become available, however long in the future it is, I hope it's customizable - unlike the C7 was in GT5, and the M4 in GT6 now.

And another Jalop .
If a ZR1 happens, it'll be quite a scary machine.

Another fellow Jalop here. IF Chevy does bring back the ZR1 nameplate for the C7, we're looking at 700hp at the very minimum.

They just need to throw in some electric engine powering the front wheels and they'll have a ZR1 that will be slighlty below 918, P1, LaFerrari.

Edit: Also super expensive tires.

If anyone has this months copy of Hot Rod magazine? On page 10 under the heading "Z06 Spy report" it shows a picture of what appears to be a C7(possible Z06) driving on Route X?!?

Maybe they're using it for reference, I don't know, but it could mean something I think.

Not saying this is going to happen, just pure speculation, but seeing how we got the C7 test car and final prototype in GT5, I've got a feeling that we'll be getting the Z06 very soon, perhaps as soon as tomorrow. Again, I've got not idea if it'll be in or not, but I've got a strong feeling it might be.

I personally think that should be the ZR1 due to all of its aerodynamic splitters and stuff. They should make the ZO7 a bit less agressive in the aero department and beef up the power.

Wow, 620HP. With this new Z06 I don't see a ZR1 happening. It just has everything the C6 ZR1 had; from its aerodynamics, supercharged engine and also power. This car is more than I imagine it would be.

Has nothing to do with GT6, but I like the #C7R. The Z06 is awesome, I'm more interested in that.

I love how Chevrolet's all like "Nah that Stingray isn't us trying, THIS is when we try!" Goddamn though that thing is gonna be amazing to drive, I hope it gets in GT6 because that thing is gonna be a BEAST. If they do a ZR1, that's gonna be a whole new ball game...

Statiscally, if the new Z06 is indeed a 620HP bonkers machine, I can see it entering C6 ZR1 realm. If a new ZR1 happens, Sweet Jesus

Let me guess, it would become a 700+hp monster with probably a top speed of at least 220mph.

Z06 looks like a Super C class car, like the old ZR1.

If a new ZR1 like the one you're talking about comes along, I can see it as a Super B class or, if They're really determined to be world beaters, a Super A.

Jalop reader checking in; first, The Z06 looks insane/evil/epic and I hope we get it sound and all very soon.
second, if we get a new ZR1, it will be A: The nuttiest thing GM will ever make and possibly be limited production or something (700-800hp tops!) or B: A street-legal C7R with 800hp. Basically a full race car (minus cage of course) with an obscene amount of horsepower and some random bits to make it street legal and perhaps collaboration with Pratt & Miller as well.

It's been reported to have already beat the ZR-1 time round GM's test track(with preproduction engine settings).

It's awesome that GT had the C7 before anyone else.

Street legal C7.R?

It'll most likely be the first thing, it'll become a full-on American Supercar capable of incredible performance.
I don't think GM would make the ZR1 a straight on road version of the C7.R, they would most likely call the street legal C7.R something else if they did that. Kinda like what Chrysler did with the SRT Viper GT3-R.

I'm gonna hope for a freak announcement out of the blue from PD tomorrow saying that it's been modeled for the game.

They're not gonna be high hopes, but...they're hopes.
