I have a dxf file I made in some cheapo free software (eMachineShop).

I'd like to print it out with all the dimensions on the printout, so that I can give it to someone else and they can tell where things are.

Any help/software to do this would be awesome. I know there are some CAD people here, so hopefully I'll get some help!

I don't know about Solidworks, but AutoCAD can export drawings as bitmaps. I have AutoCAD 2005, so if you want I could export the drawing as a bitmap to print off.

Or if you send me the dxf, I could make a pdf for you.

Yeah, I can also. I don't know if the dimensioning will come through or not, but if it's not too complicated, I'll just re-dimension it.

Let us know.

I use Solid Works 2006 at work and at home. I could also try to help convert your .dfx file. We also have Autocad here too.

Wow, thanks so much guys!

I'm attaching the dxf here in the zip file.

It's definitely not too complicated.

What do you need dimensioned?

Edit: non-dimensioned pdf attached.

Thanks TB and CAMAROBOY.

Really, I needed a program to do this myself so that when dimensions changed, I could redo the diagram.

I found Google SketchUp, which really works very well. 👍

Thanks for the effort and time, though, guys.
