Sweet, 8 hours of typing on the computer burns 844 calories! :D

If that's all you do though, then you can only consume 844 calories (or less) each day. ;) Not easy, especially when a number of hamburgers these days are hovering in the 700–800-calorie range (that's not including at least another 200 calories for the drink and whatever for the fries).

I wonder how many calories you burn in the act of eating food all day đź’ˇ

I want to combine terms. I ran 12 miles at 6:00 pace today on a xc course (roughly). It only has that distance at pace (1548 for me) or on an xc course (871 for me) not both at the same time.

Umm, if you only ate 844 Calories a day, you would die. You'd have 0 energy left to burn then!

Eating celery actually takes more energy to eat than it supplies. It has negative calories!

Subway.

I wonder if there is really as much calories - and fat as they claim.
If you get cheese, oil, mayo, ranch, or southwest sauce, then no. If you get any italian subs, seafood/tuna subs, meatball subs, than no. Those things are very high in calories.

What they don't tell you, is how muhc sodium is in Subway's subs. I'm sure Jared's blood pressure is through the roof. A single 6-inch turkey sub, has 1000mg of sodiuim, IIRC. Only 4.5g of fat and 280 calories, though.

No you wouldn't. How do you think people lose weight? They consume fewer calories than they use each day – your body will then retrieve energy from fat storage.

oops. I forgot about that... My bad.

I seriously burn 1500 calories by playing golf for 4.5 hours? I just golfed like 5 times this past weekend in Canada for a total of about 20+ hours.

I wonder if that calculation is for someone who makes par, or some ****head like myself who shoots in the high nineties. I assume an extra 20 strokes could make a difference.

A 30 year old, 6ft 0 in, 85 kg male would lose 4080 calories by doing a real-life Le Mans 24 H... :D
