It's OK guys I'll stop soon. I'm running short of new ones now anyway. Sounds like you've "had it up to here" so to speak.

Right on que. Immature people are so predictable. You have driven my point home tenfold.

Where did you get Datsun from?

Dat Sky?

And did no one like my pictures?

It was the first bit of conclusive proof we got in this thread. I actually found them very helpful, unlike the silly conversation about people who aren't very tall...

Yea, I knew where you were coming from. You're fine, no problems.

You getting angry at jokes shows you being even more immature. If nowadays, people can crack jokes about the holocaust or 9/11 and be considered funny, having a crack at someone for being small makes that person an evil person? No one is insulting anyone here, people are generalizing. And you seem to be offended for everything, i hope i don't burst your bubble with this reply Mr. ''Sunshine don't offend me.'' It's people like you, who ruin today's society. No one is offending anyone for crying out loud.

On-Topic: well, most midgets i see are just people on lobbies trolling, but i guess it can drift, in GT5 about every car can drift with the right tune.

Riiiiiiight

You know if someone finds something offensive or uncalled for and something is said about it to stop, it's the proper thing to stop being an ass?

You're on the Internet. Getting offended by something found online, for whatever reason, is just unreasonable on all levels.

But i get your point. Though it is uncalled for, to start an argument over being offended over generalization of something.

Seriously you guys, is all this really needed. Making fun of someones physical limitations or characteristics is really immature. You may think you're being funny and slick with your little puns and innuendos, when in fact you are just showing how immature and childish you are. You really need to stop. And please don't come back at me with another one of your stupid puns, it will only further dfive my point home.

That's like 98% of all comedy dude. Lighten up.

The 'jokes' were off-topic, over-used, and not that funy in the first place. And it went on for way to long, using the exact same joke that wasn't really funny in the first place.
And I find it odd that you still quote him and talk about how bad he his, despite the fact that he's gone. That's not cool bro.

Yeah, you can lighten up too. Here's a tip = puns aren't usually funny. It's the fact that their so bad that makes them funny. I don't think anyone is being serious here except you two. Life is too short to get butt hurt about every little thing.

Oh, and if you thought these were bad... stay far, far, FAR away from Reddit.

I wasn't insulted by them, they just didn't make me laugh. What bothered me is that he asked people to stop and they didn't. It's the same with racist jokes. Saying those type of jokes might be funny to some people, but they can be very insulting to others. If someone is offended, you've crossed a line, and it's time to stop.

And for the record I will laugh at a joke if it's funny, regardless about how insensitive it is. These weren't funny, therefore no laughter.

Someone, somewhere, at anytime, is bound to be offended by anything and everything. So everyone - lighten the F up. He said nothing offensive, just corny crap.

I didn't say he was right for saying those jokes, please do not misunderstand what i said. His overall first reaction was what tickled me, as it wasn't offensive. Just before entering this thread, and looking at the title, it was bound to happen.

Exactly as the title says; the Dihatsu Midget D-Type is an FR thingy. It has fairly microscopic power but is also really light, so it is it actually possible to drift one?

This is the topic. Stick to it :grumpy:

I think its far more condescending and discriminatory to be offended on someone else's behalf than to make cringe-worthy puns about them.

You can most definitely drift the Midget.

Full tune it is about 120bhp and less than 500kg, very easy to drift but its hard to do prolonged drifts such as the tunnel in the recent CSR trial. Also you sometimes need a decent run up to a sector. You need to get used to the extreme lock as well.

It's also a good fun racer and I did the kart space TT in it at around 45 secs. Never tipped one over either!

Hopefully a reasonably sensible answer 👍

What the heck? I didn't read the whole thread and maybe this was answered already, but where can I get that car??!!

This may be politically incorrect to say, but I've had a few major moves in my life, and along the way I've had several friends and acquaintences who were physically challenged in some way, ranging from minor to major. Each one of them, to a person, said that humour and being treated the same way as everyone else was one of the things that made them feel like they belonged, that they weren't any different than anyone else. But what they meant about being treated the same way as everyone else was not what you might think. One of my buddies back in Kitchener many years ago, said to me once, and I'm paraphrasing, "so long as you tippy toe around me out of respect for my blindness, I'll always feel different. When you treat me like one of the guys, make fun of me, poke fun at my blindness and shortcomings and faults once in a while like all guys do when they are hanging out, then I feel like I belong. I know I'll really belong when you no longer avoid talking about my handicap, but are comfortable enough to make a few jokes about it"

That was many years ago, but anyone I've run across with any kind of physical challenge has basically felt the same way, once you got to know them a little. Sure there's a time and a place for it, like everything else, but it's when we carry our abilities and disabilities around like some kind of cross to bear and can't laugh at ourselves and others, that these disabilities really become a handicap.
