Just seen ar12 last video about fh6. Sounds like we will be getting the biggest map so far for fh6, also the biggest city in any horizon game to.

Cars getting remodeled good thing, progression also sounds like they will go more back to its roots, hopefully its more like fh1,

Hope for some car sounds fixes, some of the older cars from last games is not that great sounding sadly. The sounds was always on point up to fh3 but after that they kind of been a hit or miss.

However excited to what it could bring in 2026. Will be eating good, gt7 spec lll in december, resident evil 9 in february, gta 6 in may, and most likely fh6 in fall, and maybe even ac evo full release at end of 2026, looks bright so far👍😁

I'm amazed that it's taken them this long to set a Horizon game in Japan, particularly when you consider that Japanese manufacturers sell their vehicles in every part of the world 🌎

Is it likely that they'll include the Nismo 270R, do you think?

I think the delay in making a Japan game, as they have said, is partly due to technical limitations.

For one thing, I recall they said that the FH5 map was basically as big as they could go with the existing engine. I wonder if they might have decided to move to a new engine (Forzatech or derivative of it) partly to "escape" that and other existing limitations.

As they are including Tokyo and, from the thumbnail Fuji is there also, I don't see how Tokyo can be any acceptable size (if it was Edinburgh size from FH4 I don't think that's anywhere near big enough) in FH6 unless the map size in total is SUBSTANTIALLY larger (maybe 50% bigger than FH5?). Otherwise, to get a decent Tokyo, the rest of the map would be way too small.

And that size was just not possible for FH5 based on what was said by PG when it was released.

In my mind, the FH6 map needs to be:
1. Tokyo size approx 1/3 (minimum 1/4) of the total FH5 map
2. Rest of Japan is the same size as the total FH5 map (with the Fuji area similar to the FH5 volcano in size and other (probably flat and boring...) areas inbetween.

They're using the newer Forzatech engine developed for FM 2023. Hopefully it's improved over the version used for that game.
