I've always been curious about this car, and would like to use it on this race. But I want to be able to park up and make a few mistakes too

An Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo is easily the noobiest car for anything. Take a modded 458 Italia and kick an AI S2000's ass with it instead. ;)

Don't use the S2000 GT1 Turbo if you want to have fun in most circumstances.

I managed to win that in a RM'ed Elise with no further modifications, so yes, S2000 GT1 can win with no effort the race

I'm just looking for a car that can hold the track easily in racing hards. Any suggestions for a car that doesn't understeer or spin much?

Castrol Tom's Supra. Easily the most controllable car in the game without aids. It can also very easily beat the S2000 GT1 Turbo.

Should I buy the 97 supra, or just use my 2001 model?

The first time I done that endurance I used a SuperGT NSX Raybrig, pretty easy, never pushed to the limits and won by 1 or two laps, can't remember :) And you can also use Racing Soft, if you are smooth on the corners, they last as long as racing hard ;)

You can use your 2001 model 👍

Any car that can lap in the 8:30s with fuel and tire wear on can win the 4-hour easily. 8:20s if you don't trust yourself to not have a huge crash every other lap.

How does this..

?

Amuse S2000 GT1 Turob is the noobiest car (too much downforce, too easy to drive), but then you propose a Race car (even more downforce, even easier to drive) for an event which mainly consists of Tuner cars?

Why is the S2000 GT1 Turbo nooby? Why do people think that fast cars with lots of downforce are nooby?

Anyway, all you need to do is use tyres with lower grip like comfort or sports tyres and then it should be a good race.

If it's mostly tuner cars in the race and you want it to be more fair, use an AEM S2000, RE Amemiya Amemiya FD3S RX-7 or the 380RS Super Leggera.

Would any of the fully tuned premium BMWs win easily? Maybe by a couple of laps? I've wanted to pimp one of those out as well.

Z4, M3 etc will do.

They are really easy to drive too.

I think ill use those. And ill have some extra time in case I wreck or have related issues?

I used a heavily modified Mercedes SLS. I went a bit too far and it ended up being a cakewalk, but it was still hugely fun.

I highly recommend it. Just be careful not to give it too much HP. I thought that even with ~750hp in my SLS that the S2000 GT1 the AI drives in the Nurburg 4hr would be a real contender. Turns out, he lost by about 8 laps.

How high can you tune either of those cars? I would just buy them and test, but ill be crunched for time when I get home and just wanna tune it up and race :)

I left my M3 stock so I can't tell for that but the Z4 can be tuned to 400bhp+.

I'd use the M3 if you want to have an easy race.

You only need to do 28 laps and then you can park your car. But what's the point, why not have a competitive race?

I would probably get nervous and miss the pits or spin out for no reason hahaha

The Z4 '03 can be pushed to a little over 400 HP while the Z4 M Coupe can get closer to 450. You can get 590 HP out of the M3. If I were to use one of these BMWs I'd use the M3 because I enjoy driving it more than the little Z4s.

Yeah the pits are easy to miss especially of you don't pay attention.

I nearly missed them but I remembered in the last second so I just swerved in.

If you use an X2010 then it'll take maybe 2 and a half hours, maybe 3 hours of racing at the most.

I used a Suzuki GSXR/4 by the way. I couldn't get to them in the straights but I caught up in the corners. I only had to make 2 pit stops because the car was so light.

Probably anything you can get to 580-600PP will destroy the competition. 530-550 can make things pretty fun, if you're not afraid to lose if you do something REALLY stupid. Of course it varies depending on the specific car and driver. This is assuming Race Hards, the AI runs on Mediums.

Again, the easiest way is just to see how fast you are on lap 2 without crashing. If you are in the :20s or :30s you should have no problems at all unless you have to pit every second lap, in which case you won't get a lap 2 time :D.

I'm just gonna tune up a z4 and an m3/m5 and see how the work. Thanks for the input guys, can always count on my fellow GTPer's :)

The S2000 can and will beat the average AI JGTC/Super GT simply because its straight line speed is far too broken compared to them. Plus it can still keep up in the corners even with a tyre disadvantage.

The Amuse is simply the AI's favorite weapon. It can beat anything in any race it can come up against, and that's why I refer to it as The AI's Noob Tube.

It just looks like a S2000 that's had it's front bumper melted down too. As previously mentioned, the S2000 GT1 Turbo has ridiculous straight line speed against its main 'competitors' which at the end of the day and up being Super GT's. Its acceleration isn't as solid as it really could be but it somehow can stick with Super GT's even with the tyre disadvantage.

Also, if you go into an Arcade Mode race with any tuner car, the S2000 will almost certainly be there and it will destroy everything in the race. Unless you're in the Zonda R, but that really is completely and laughably out of place

And other high down force cars aren't nooby. The LMP's for example, actually have a reason for existence - for racing heritage. They're there for actual racing, and the Amuse is just a overpowered, glorified S2000 that's far too underrated by the match up system in this game.
