Can I transfer my photos onto an iPod? Will it corrupt any of my songs or files? Please help.

Try it & find out. Let us know your results, you shall be the GTplanet guinea pig.

Yes you can transfer pics to your ipod and then your computer

Not on a 4G iPod, it doesn't work it says usb device not connected while it is uploading the pictures of my car.

Nah, it didnt work. I tried on a 20gig one. The iPod displays the do not disconnect thing but the PS2 cant use it/.

Sorry my mistake, i guess you should have just searched in the first place anyways but w/e

The general rule is if the unit doesn't need extra drivers to be recognized in XP, it'll work. My Iriver works a charm plus you can view the pics on it. 👍

But iPod doesnt need extra drivers I dont think, and it still dont work.

Hmm, I'm more than likely wrong. I only had my ipod for a couple of days. I think I'm getting mixed up with digi cam/iriver compatability. If a digi cam needs drivers for xp, the iriver wont pick it up.

I just ues a jump drive :-] but I could use my lyra if I wanted.

i have a 3rd generation 15 gig iPod and it works fine. its a little slower than a flash drive, and it wastes the iPod's battery though. :)

Really? Ill have to try again because my 20 gig Gen 3 stayed at the same amount completed on the bar for about 5 minutes until I gave up. It doesnt really matter but I wouldnt have to "borrow" my dads USB stick all the time/

512 and 1gig I Pod Shuffles work

yah! I'm buying a shuffle in the next week or so. Look out :scared: , i'll be joining the weekly comps soon.... not that i'm modest or anything :sly:

Cool I LOVE mine, USB to Mac / PC data and 7hrs or so of music is all you really need plus it weighs nothing and is the size of a chewing gum packet...brilliant and good choice especially if you have the earlier gen Pods

Use the big pod in the car with the Belkin for long trips and the shuffle for catching the bus to work

You know you gotta get one :-)

like i said, the iPod is really slow for writing photos to it. when i transfered like 20 photos all at once, it took about 15 or 20 minutes. by then, my battery gave out. it works nonetheless!
maybe that'll help

How about on a creative zen touch? Anyone tried that yet?

I'm sure it will, the MuVo 2 does, and all of Creative's HDD players are pretty much the same, as far as compatibility goes.
