Nah, it didnt work. I tried on a 20gig one. The iPod displays the do not disconnect thing but the PS2 cant use it/.

The general rule is if the unit doesn't need extra drivers to be recognized in XP, it'll work. My Iriver works a charm plus you can view the pics on it. 👍

But iPod doesnt need extra drivers I dont think, and it still dont work.

Hmm, I'm more than likely wrong. I only had my ipod for a couple of days. I think I'm getting mixed up with digi cam/iriver compatability. If a digi cam needs drivers for xp, the iriver wont pick it up.

i have a 3rd generation 15 gig iPod and it works fine. its a little slower than a flash drive, and it wastes the iPod's battery though. :)

Really? Ill have to try again because my 20 gig Gen 3 stayed at the same amount completed on the bar for about 5 minutes until I gave up. It doesnt really matter but I wouldnt have to "borrow" my dads USB stick all the time/

Cool I LOVE mine, USB to Mac / PC data and 7hrs or so of music is all you really need plus it weighs nothing and is the size of a chewing gum packet...brilliant and good choice especially if you have the earlier gen Pods

Use the big pod in the car with the Belkin for long trips and the shuffle for catching the bus to work

You know you gotta get one :-)

like i said, the iPod is really slow for writing photos to it. when i transfered like 20 photos all at once, it took about 15 or 20 minutes. by then, my battery gave out. it works nonetheless!
maybe that'll help
