I'm looking for a really good setup for the Aventador LP700-4. Which tuner can tame this beast? C'mon, somebody out there must be brave enough! :)

I have a tune that is easy to handle
Can't remember much of the setup but I do remember that it has 720BHp, weighed 1400KG and LSD was at 5/60 for torue, 5/60 for accel and 5/5 for braking. Also had stock transmission and was 600PP exactly

I tried those two tunings, and couldn't keep the car on the road. I tried to tune this myself, increasing the understeer. Terrible. I'll be looking elsewhere for my 650 PP competitor.

I have been working on one for a little bit here and there. As I am finding out, I still have a lot TO FIND out! 👍

I actually am running with the stock transmission. Had a hard time getting good setting, or anything better than the stock. So there is room for improvement there I am assuming.

So let feel free to make adjustments accordingly, one thing I am proud of is the torque differential and no ballast. It will keep to the track, and you will definitely need to run some hot laps (I used Nordschleiffe). One thing is running off the track while on the throttle is bad news. :dunce: Areas that may need improvement are tweaks to the brakes and a custom gear ratio.

I run ABS-1, no aids, and controller sense at 0.

Have you tried my wizard yet? Were you using the custom wheels?

I punched in a custom ride height of 90mm. I got 83/96 F/R ride height and 8.3/5.84 spring F/R

Doesn't seem very beastly to me. Albeit, I used the MR wizard since it's more like an MR car than a pure 4WD car.

I haven't tried it yet myself, what PP are you looking to have and what track?

600 PP World Touring Car was my goal. Starting to think I need a proper TC for that one, though. 650 PP would be great.

I've give it a shot later tonight or tomorrow, should be easy enough to win that race with it even at 600PP.

I havent seen the wizard, I will have to do a search for it later.

Im learning still so any advice/tools I will take. I have switched to only using stock wheels until I hear that this glitch is fixed.

Well that car is not one I would want to use for Nordschleife, It really does not drive very well at all and looks like it will eat the front tires like they are candy.

The car does not go to 650, 648 tops and it actually drives worse when you add power to it. It would be better at 600pp The car is fast but does not corner well, tires heat up very quickly and you lose front grip. After a few laps around Tokyo I'm not to impressed with the car as a circuit car. Looks like you would have to baby it through the corners and use its speed to gain ground on the straights. I may get back into it later and see if I can get it to turn better but after driving it with power I definitely do not care for it much.

If you are just looking for a car to run in this race I would use something else.

I bought the Aventador on my last session, did the world touring car on 600PP (770+HP, 1575kg-stock weight ) using racing hard ( no aids ), won all races straight away by a few seconds ( against gt3 cars and some other racing cars ). I am testing the car further on arcade races. So far the car is great and stable, consistently lapping the Bathurst in less than 2:10s. Will post the tune on my replica garage when it's ready as a bonus car.

This is the best tune I've seen. Behaves like a solid MR car, a bit twitchy, but thank god it's at last somewhat predictable. Thanks very much!

I have been trying to find a good balance. I think it understeers a tad, but I think everyone is right it probably runs better with less power.

But glad it helped you out.

Steering sensitivity at +1 or +2, all aids off, except ABS 1 ( if not comfortable with ABS 0 ) with 7/5 brake balance as starting point.

Notes :
The Aventador has mild power bump and tuned for 600PP, using racing hard it can easily win the World Touring Car event in GT6.

The car is has sharp response in handling, great brakes and very rapid acceleration, try not to brake late, trail braking is highly recommended as well. Understeer is minimal, but beware of oversteer on low speed exit.

Hope it helps.

I spent so long tuning this car, finally got it pretty perfect and able to drive almost as hard as any other car, one important setting I found was to actually put 2-3 toe IN on the front wheels to reduce the oversteer / spinning aggression on lift-off sweepers.

Probably found this car the hardest to tune, and I've been tuning cars in all sorts of games since GT1 and never came across a 4wd like this, handles more like a twitchy MR! I haven't tried anyone else's tune as I enjoy the challenge of doing them myself, might post mine later when I'm on the PS3, but I had the springs set for some oversteer (quite soft), dampers for understeer on bound, slightly more understeer on rebound, AR bars equal, and the setting that helped the most was strangely setting the torque ratio to 10:90 so it acts like a RWD - that got rid of almost all the crazy snap oversteer for me and I think I used 60 5 5 for LSD, I tried almost every combination of LSD and I've never been a big fan of LSD as it seems to only mask crazy handling characteristics rather than cure it, making the car seriously unpredictable on cars like this, but this setting worked for me.

I'll post my tune if anyone's interested.

Thanks Ridox, I'll try that tomorrow. Gentoo, please post your tune too. I'm glad to hear you say this car is a handful. I was worried it was just me. :)

I have mine max power & minimum weight riding SS tires running Brands Hatch 1:25. and she is ready to get RH tires swapped on n will pull off 1:23. Im not sure how good that is compared to the guys here Im new, but my driving only seems decemt because of my Tuning skillz. The car is not a hard car to tune needing much tamming, she is glued to the road with the right set up. The suspention is better done in GT6 and the Aventador and most MR cars drive so much better, especially the Yellowbird, FINALLY the Bird Rides like a 80's 911, and she needs the Premium touch.

The Aventador reminds me of the RS200; they can drive nice and fast but be a pita when you least expect on certain tracks

Preliminary testing is complete and Ridox, I love your setup. The beast is tamed! I realize it may just be my driving style, and no disrespect to the other tuners here, but Ridox has the best for me. Thanks, man! Awesome work there. :)

Thank you Chaz, glad the car works great for you :) I have some new replicas coming ( Knight Sports RX 7 SE and Top Fuel Civic ZERO 1000 ) and bonus cars already ( Diablo GT2 and few others ) posted, feel free to try them

Jack, that looks terrific, thanks!

I love when a tuner specifies a color, shows he cares. I paint everything red, but I still appreciate the effort.

I see so many tunes that say "Improve Body Rigidity," which I usually skip cause it's expensive. I'm guessing it really helps, or it wouldn't be in there. A few LTW laps should pay the bill. :)
