Can they? I haven't heard anything about this, and someone I know is saying he can play them on the PS2, with the UMD.

I'm convinced that this isn't right?

I've seen an adapter that allows you to connect your PSP to a TV and connect a PS2 controller to you PSP. So that's a bit like it.. Looks good though, i might get one if they're reasonably priced.

There's no way the UMD will fit in a PS2, so I can't see how it should b done. Also - The CPU and GFX chips in the PSP is far from the same as the ones in the PS2. Another problem...

So my guess is no.... No way.. Ever...

Thank you very much.. I'll have to look into one of these sometime soon.... 👍

Now if only the PSP supported an external USB harddrive :grumpy:

They are making universal memory card readers for it though. Some prototypes are already working.

Why would you want this though, if you have a USB cable?

You be able to use some of the PS2 games save games on some of the same games but in PSP format. Also if anyone wants to know weather, they can download there GT4 photosave screens from there PS2 onto there PSP.

Well you can.

Good idea about the save games! what games will be the same though? Maybe FIFA 06?

All you need to do is use a USB Flash drive, put them on your PC - Resize them, then use the USB cable to the PSP! Walla!

Arwin doesnt mean that. I think he means a device where you put in a SD, CF or SM Card and plug that into the memstickslot of the PSP.

Exactly 👍

We have enough cardreaders for the PC already...

Just buy a Game USB Cable and USB PSP Recharger in one. Its much cheaper you can upload photos, while recharging.

Well - Actually... What would be cool would to fool the PSP into thinking that an external USB harddrive was an extension of the Memory card.. I have the disk - then all I need the TV connector and you have a Media Player for bringing on vacations and stuff.. I brought the Laptop last time I went on a snowboarding trip - You're always completely fubar after a day out and just wants to relax. And it works fine with the laptop - I just want a smaller package to haul around..

Ahh i see now, i didnt understand at first - that would be a good idea also, but if you already have a source of removable media for the PSP (mem stick pro duo) then why would you want another???
