Can someone make a sound import tool?

If they can make hybrid cars I am sure they can make some sort of tool to inject sound in the game, there must be a way.

No they can't.

Think for a second, if it could be done, someone would've done it already.

Doesn't it just take time because when gt5 was out there was nothing about hybriding cars I think but now you can swap engines and all that even remove spoilers from cars.

You don't know what hybriding is... find out what it is first.

That's not how it works at all.. everything done in -redacted- is using what is already in the game. You can't "inject" something externally

I was talking about when the game was out first I don't think there was no hybriding the cars back then just track glitching for money and the ticket thing to get the car but they fixed it by limiting trades and fixing track glitches.. Isn't hybriding meaning they cheating because hybrid cars go super fast or something.

If possible, I wish there was a way to call out to certain sounds to replace other sounds (which is especially useful for cars with only racing exhaust available, like racecars and such.)

..or call out to certain exhausts (like standard exhaust for RM cars) to get that sound that one would want.

No. Just because most of the hybrids you see are stupidly fast and have an X1 chassis doesn't mean that those are the only types of hybrids. Hybriding is taking say a Mini Cooper 98' chassis and putting it into a Honda N360 or taking the GT-R engine and putting it into a Supra. There are many hybrid combinations.

You can swap engine notes between two cars that are in the game. (assuming that's what you meant)

I'm going to stop here incase I cross a line.

Think of what the word hybrid is, and then try and apply your new found knowledge into GT5.

hy·brid
/ˈhīˌbrid/

Noun
A thing made by combining two different elements; a mixture.

Adjective
Of mixed character; composed of mixed parts.

👍

(Also I just noticed how awkward it is that I, being someone who doesn't use or make hybrid cars, know about the process than most folks )

That search yielded nothing relevant, FYI.

What the guy above me said. You use a program to combine or replace the engine, the spoiler it goes invisible but still have the spoiler on your car.

What? I was quoting him because it was relevant to what he said. Not because I was saying it to him.

What does this have to do with injecting a sound from outside of the game into the game data?

I never said putting a sound in game have to be called hybriding. It could be called whatever the maker wants but I am saying if you looked at my first post that if they could make hybrid cars why can't they make some way to change sound instead of changing engines by hybriding.

Oh my god. Putting a sound in the game would just drone with any throttle. It's got to be dynamic over RPM ranges and respond to your inputs. Try doing that and get back to us.

Yeah, no I know that isn't what you meant.

What I'm saying to you is this - It is not possible to, what on earth am I saying inject.. IMPORT, It is not possible to import audio from outside of the game and associate it with a car.

It's not a question of time to develop, so when -redacted- came out is irrelevant. It's not possible due to the framework of the game.

It's not even possible unless you found a way to get into the disk's code. Hybriding/hacking is involved with the saved data files.

Just sync an outside car sound with the car you're driving in GT5? 💡
