Hello all. Can someone PLEASE tell me what this rubberband trick is? I've heard loads of people on about it, but have never been told what it is or does!!

no problem man !
get yourself an escudo either by winning it or buying it for 1,000,000credits , enter the super speedway endurance , but before you start the race go into the options selection , then configure your joypad so as R2 becomes your accelarator , and make sure the x button gets the old role originally for R2 or it wont accept configuring , you'll know wot i mean when you try it , anyway now get youreslf some sticky tape and a rubberband , start the race !! hold down the new accelarator button R2 and tape it down secure , next and this is while your already racing away put the rubberband around both sticks and find the right tension to keep the escudo wall riding its way around the course without being too tight and gripping the wall , when you have done this properly you should be able to leave and come back at about lap 70- 80 as long as you have superhard tyres on , (i nearly fogot that bit ) one pit stop and then back to it until the end , if configured properly you can win lots of credits and cars in this event ! i personally done it 6 times back to back when i heard about it and win all cars available on this event , so good luck man a little trial and error but you'll get the hang of it in no time , just think what you can do while your earning goodies man , the possibilities are endless , let us know how you do man cya MR P.
