The majority of Gt4 Drifters drift with the dual shock controllers, so yes.

Answer please.
That's not a question. Its a statement.

You've got 2 usb ports on the PS2. Does neither of them work?

I used to have the Gt4 Logitech steering wheel with the 900 degrees but it screwed up so i took it back... But now since i found this forum NOW I WANT TO DRIFT WITH A WHEEL :grumpy:

i cant drift with a ds2 so i bought a dfp and now i can drift like a king
thats kinda hard to believe since it took most of the people who do have dfp's at least 2-4 months to really get used to drifting with the dfp. i really dont think you just went out and got a dfp and in the same day became a 'drift king' over night.

edit - another stupid spelling mistake.

Lol, I kind of got the habit now, reading over my post and editing.

heh drifting with the DS2 Controller is really easy to me because you reaction time seems to be alot faster but not as stable IMO, but i must say that the pedals do really make a difference but can get a bit tiring on the foot .

haha, i usually always skim over my posts before i actually post it to make sure i dont have any major errors. but stuff happens, you get distracted, or doing something else, and you happen to type a word that your actually saying while talking to others in the room or on the phone. i LOL at myself when i do that.

but anyways, yes you can drift with the controller. alot of people started on ds2, and some still have it. so i think that about wraps up this thread. sorry for the hijack.

I can't drift with the DFP, at all. I just can't get used to the counter steering because there is no real way to tell when to counter steer, it's all luck. Grip racing is easy, drifting... yeah, not so much.

As for the DS2, I can drift with that no problem.

So to answer your question from my experience, yes, you can drift with the DS2.

I suppose its quicker from lock to lock with a DS2

Much.

If you set the wheel to 200 degree mode drifting is much easier, but, what's the point in that? When I drive, I drive in 900 degree mode, but this makes it hard to do quick counter steering with the force feedback. It's doable, but it is a challenge for me.
