Can you paint any other Standard race cars besides the Camaro LM RC?

What part of "Standard Race Cars" do people not understand!

When you've been here as long as I have, things like this no longer come as a surprise. No one reads a forum, but everyone wants to contribute. Ironic.

On topic, the aforementioned Camaro LM looks pretty good in chrome... well, for a doorstop, that is.

Seems nobody else agrees with me that the Lotus Motor Sport Elise '99 is a race car. :(

Is it a race car? Well, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and weighs the same as a witch...

Could this be because the Camaro LM is a fictional car? One of those "what-if" racers they often design, so they won't have to worry about any real-life sponsor being annoyed that you can paint over their company logo.
Still, by that logic it's weird that the FTO can't be painted. Anyone know if the Ford GT LM (the GT4 cover-car) can be painted?
