Aced it, but my dads a social studies teacher, so I know this stuff.

Christ, I'm from Britain and I got 20. lol

Once you know North Dakota and Carolina, South versions are easy. Little tip there. lol

48/48; Alaska and Hawaii are notably absent from the puzzle.

It would be interesting to see how people would do if the state borders weren't drawn in. (Rhode Island would be a tough fit.)

I'm curious as to what states our non-American-GTP members answered correctly most often?

Florida, California, Texas, Washington, errr..., thingy and that one, you know.

7. Woo.

California, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, Nevada, Texas and I forget the other one.

Edit: 14 on the 2nd go.

Edit: 3rd go, using Google Maps, and I still only got 31. Damnit.

I always remember florida as 'americas wang' from the simpsons. I got 12, America is a mystery to me.

I got New York, New Jerzey (thanks MistaX), Washington, California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan and Indiana.

I got 21/48 the ones that come to mind straight away that I put down first off the top of my head are Florida, California, Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Michigan and Washington.

I only knew for certain Florida and Texas. I also knew that New York was somewhere up there in the right corner and that Wisconsin and New Jersey were somewhere near it, and that California was in the left corner.

Nailed it. First try. I guess that means I'm some kind of genius huh? Not surprised that our friends from across the pond are having a little trouble, though I am surprised at how many they seem to know.

If we can find an English/British counties one we'll return the favour.

I struggled with the "I"s and "O"s, and the whole middle bit was a bit of fast-clicking guesswork...

45/48 on first try (my mouse didn’t seem to like the Flash), 48/48 on second.

48/48! Woo.

Honestly though, if this was about (counties? townships?) whatever you guys have in England, I'd fail miserably.

Yeah, you furreners are doing pretty well – I honestly know nothing about the geography of any of the European countries.
