Cannot send cars, paints, nothing

Every time I do it says upload failed, help. Plus I tried quitting and going back to the game, shutting ps3 off

PSN is down for maintenance, certain things are not working at the moment for some people, like sending items in GT5. Try again once it's finished.

Not usually a good idea to send something when PSN is down for maintenance because your paint, cars or other items might not get to the person you want to send it.

Yeah thats what happened, lost my paints and a car since my friends didnt receive anything

Do you have a save file from before sending? Or will this not recover lost items.

Yeah, it was a mistake to leave online "access" on. FR's won't some through either. It should either be ON or OFF, not somewhere in-between.

Agreed. Funny how it is pot luck whether anything will work or not. I sent a car and even watched it get forwarded to someone else. But then it couldn't go to the next guy because the FR wouldn't come through.

It's not GT5, Sony said that if you have been on in hours leading up to the maintenance, then you will be able to get on. All day I've been doing seasonals and receiving FR's and PSN messages from friend I can see online. Just a FR I sent that wa supposedly accepted shows up ad pending and and that I've sent that has been accepted, I can see in my list. I've been confuzzled.

I get ya but yesh hopefully everything redolves itself by the time maintenance is over, aside from the fact I lost a tuned slr and 5 paints

I think everyone is in the same situation.
Untill PS Store is back online we can only wait.

Tried with all items. Paints/suits/helmets/ car.

Sad week for Sony/PD. First they mess up with 2.10 looping then we get extended maintenance, Now a brand new disappointment from them.
Oh well they are putting us to the test with this one.

EDIT: After finally being able to get online and into my generalben6 account. Anyone who has sent gifts over the past day or two while maintenance has been going on might of lost cars to cyberspace.

Can confirm that one of the two cars in last link was collected before any PD/Sony problems?
I know I should of had something in my gifts. But nothing. So its another problem thats out there?

Cars or items in delivery box might be gone.
I have a feeling PSN and particularly PS Store is doing some sort of back up check. A bit the same way we back up the cars we trade. I'm just guessing at this point but judging by the odd timing (end of the week / week end) this situation was not planned.

Thats best way to go mate just send a suit/helmet to a 2nd account see if you can send and recieve before anything else, No point risking wasting a trade day on a car?
