Once the X1 comes out, everyone will start duping it themselves, and the market will have an influx of X1s and become worthless. Any car, for that matter, will become worthless once people start duping it and everyone having it. If this continues on, the whole GT5 trading scene will pretty much die off as everyone can get their hands on any car they want for free by reloading a backup save.
The trading "scene" is pretty much dead anyway, as you are limited to 1 trade per day. Which is a good thing in my mind. It makes giveaway exploits prettty useless.
That means you coul\d have 1,000 X1's. You can only give them away at the rate of -- you guessed it, 1 per day
If people keep this up much longer, PD may just make the gamesaves like FM2 and FM3 saves. If you log on and the game touches the server it is time stamped.
if you restore an older file the server sees the stamp is older and flags your save as "tampered with".
That is it - the save is now useless for online use.
If you guys keep this up, PD will set similar flags for the GT5 gamesaves. Imagine your pain whenyou are banned from online.
That will be the end of the usefullness of the save as a backup tool.
One more thing, you better hope PD doesnt interogate your gamesaves the way Turn10 did with the FM3 saves - they checked total car count, gift tally credits earned and deduced your garage was full of exploited cars. The sentence was
10 year ban from Online Forza for that MS Online account
I know, I am almost 2 years into my 10 year ban
