Update 2 (12:21 AM, GMT -5):

You are looking at the X1 that could be in your account by next week! We have won a bid for a X1! In fact, its the silver edition X1 (you must score silver or higher in the Vettel challenge to receive this car)

In exchange, we are providing the following cars for the trade:

2 Peugeot 908s (both colors)
Audi R10
Formula Gran Turismo
2J 1970 race car
Bentley 8 speed
Peugeot 905
Lexus LFA Matte White

GT by Citroen Race Car
GT by Citroen concept car (788 HP electric motors)
C60 Hybride
Ferrari F2010
Ferrari F1 2007
Esperante Race Car

Those highlighted in the green another user or I already have, and those in red are ones that we still need.

Once we have completed this list, we will begin transfer (albeit, 1 car per day), and will receive the Silver X1 sometime next week for distribution!

Update 1 (11:23 PM, GMT -5):

Understandably, no one has stepped up to share their X1 at the moment.

However, several X1s are available for trade in the Marketplace for a variety of "rare" cars.

This, as I see, is an arbitrage opportunity. In order to obtain the X1 faster, this is whats to be done:

1. Users with all high value cars (Ferrari F1s, Audi R10, Peugeot 908s, Mazda 787Bs, stealth cars, etc) make a consolidated bidding effort on one of the forums.

2. These users back up their own account, and send the cars all to the owner of the X1 as part of a trade agreement. Users then revert their saved files, regaining the traded away cars.

3. The X1 owner trades away his/her X1 to one account. This account holder then shares his/her X1 with the rest of the group.

Offer your best cars, and I will make a consolidated bid ASAP to win that X1! Please note that once a deal is closed, you must send the cars requested to the owner of the X1 directly, and not through any intermediaries.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As now data back up is enabled through the 1.05 patch, all cars unlocked by the collective community of GT5 could be made accessible to all members. This includes the ultra expensive/rare cars such as the X1, Formula Gran Turismo, Ferrari 2010, Ferrari F2007, Audi R10, etc etc

To initiate car share with another member, consider the following example:

Max has a X1 (or, X2010). Albert is interested in the X1 (he currently do not have one). Max and Albert are friends.

1. Max makes a back up of his game saved data onto a remote storage.
2. Max then logs onto his original account and sends the X1 to Albert. Albert now has one X1, and Max has none.
3. Max deletes his original saved data, and pastes in his backed up data. Max now regains his old X1 before trading initiated.
4. Both Max and Albert now have the X1s.

Please sign your name below on cars you are willing to contribute to share with fellow gamer. One person sharing his/her X1 means 2 people that could be sharing them tomorrow, 4 the day after, 16 the day after.. etc.

By the end of 6 days, 4,294,967,296 people could theoretically have the X1. (in other words, about 70% of the Earth's population)

The following people are interested in sharing their cars:

daspianist - Peugeot 908, Toyota 7, Toyota MINOLTA
fabianw - Peugeot 908 Team Total
ValiantThorr - Sauber Mercedes C9 race car
Dr. Jensen83 - Ford Mark IV Race Car 67', Lambo Murchialgo 640, Red Bull Stock Car, Sebastian Loeb Rally Car

The following people are interested in receiving cars:

... as the X1, FGT and other rare/expensive cars are generating a lot of interest, I will stop putting names up for - wanted section. Once I receive names of people willing to share their cars, I will put update the list above for you to contact privately. Thanks!

Please contact the people individually to inquire about car borrowings, as well as trading schedule. Thanks! :)

Note 2: once you have received a X1 from whichever source and are interested in sharing, please post or pm me so I may update the list.

Note 3: given the ability to back up saved data, trades lost due to the once a day trading limit could now be safely circumvented (simply use your backed up account data). Thanks for making light of this point, Nick-PD :).

I am wanting the X1, and will redistribute it once acquired.

People please pass on X1's and FGT's!

I need the FGT more right now, if anyone would that would be great.

I created a new account and the save didn't work, but when I use it on my regular account am I still blocked with the trade limit?

I'm down for this, please pass me the X1 and I'll pass it on. I'd also be willing to pass on a FGT.

We need a "pay it forward" forum now ;P Player A) lists what cars they interested in. Player B) lists what cars they can share. Everyone shares then everyone has cars they might not have the time or the patience to grind for.

Me i would love the X1 protoype because i know it would take me weeks or months trying to better my times to the point i could get gold lest on sazuka and maybe nurburg, still got to bronze nurburg. :P

skywolf23 i would pass it on when i could. Know a few people on my list that have barely squeeked by for bronze in the vettle challenge.
