The... thing beside the mirror reflection. I thought it was a building but the reference picture is a studio shot. what the hell is that, then?
You're correct, it is a building. I realised that the only way you can make cars look truely shiny is 'drawing' the scene onto your car. If your car is located in a car park when you're drawing it, then you'd have to draw a car park onto your car that is distorted by the curves of the car. I only put that one reflection on though, otherwise things would get too complex.
MSTER -

I know I'm repeating previous responses, but you are improving in your drawings. Just take your time through each piece you make. And observe the world around you as well, from reflections to tire camber. While I don't note them down in a journal or something, my observations led me to some pretty good conclusions (mostly all of them came from the more professional works on this thread :p).

I'll perhaps even use some of your shading as a small 'benchmark' when I delve into realism :)

I think I'll take another crack at tooning a car.

Thank you for the suggestions and advice. I also look at cars in the real world and how I can apply it into my drawings.

You don't have to see mine in order for you to pick up a pencil.

Plus, I've been out and about, busy doing other things. I'll see if I can do something this Friday.

but I want to see yours ):

That's fundamentally wrong. You do put in the reflections IF THERE ARE reflections, Believe me, nobody would ever believe that because there is nothing else reflecting on the car. As I said before, stick to your reference and get better at a lot of other things first, complex reflections are some of the last elements you need to worry about.

Too bad. You post your drawing first this time.

I already have the linework done, I just have to colour it now.

but I'm still not posting it until you post yours first. :p

Oh come on... ok, then. I'll do an old Fiesta.

EDIT: Man, they're boxy as sin. I'll do a new one.

That said, I have no comment on this.

The car is the same. Not the picture or anything, but it is just impossible to be other. It has same colors, same rims and same front lip.

Colloquial term is not incorrect.

Rims are effectively the colloquial term for wheels.

Dictionary
colloquialism
1. (Linguistics) a word or phrase appropriate to conversation and other informal situations
2. (Linguistics) the use of colloquial words and phrases
