This series seems to have the best competition I have found so far. The AI actually can drive well. I attempted the Trial Mountain race with the Bentley Speed 8. I used racing hard to make it a challenge, and I could get to within a second of the Mazda 787B, but would usually spin out before I could catch it. I think I'll stick with RH tires to keep the challenge, but may bump up to Medium if it gets too hard.

Does anyone know what tires the AI use for this series?
 
ZR-1 RM or Furai Concept make this race easy (both are obtained early on). The Furai will have trouble if there is a high speed course though since it has under 600 HP.
 
You will find the Minolta inconsistent as it doesn't grip very well at low speed. It seems to rely heavily on its downforce which only comes into effect at speeds approaching 200km/h. I had similar results, can win them all but not in a row.
Recently bought a XJR-9 LM Racecar put race softs on and that made mince meat out of the competition. Its not got the top speed of the Minolta but it is much better suited to technical circuits. Costs a bit but its worth it. This championship takes a while you don't want to have to do the whole thing again because a one little mistake.

4. Use $$$ from Seasonals to buy Zr1 RM
5. Install Racing soft tyres
6. Win!

The first one went fine, but the Indy Oval is crazy hard!

They just fly past me as soon as it starts, as they get to past 350kmh at the turns and i can barely manage 300.

That challenge is insane! :scared:

Well I can get near 340 from my 05 ford gt(maxed),non premium on my ps3

For me trouble are evil things called TURNS, I start the race, START, i make it to 4-5 .I do the turn, i might lose a place or win 1 or 3,but after half min of turn half racers are behind me and i look like a idiot being in their way,then bots start to pass me,some may even try to pull me of road thanx to they turn tactics(withc some even make my turning better:)).

! note ::: DONT BUY THAT HMJ(OR WHATEVER) rx7 whit cost of 100000 for that race , they say it has great turning ,well it does have ok turning(it has front spoiler), Cause low hp and only turbo avaible it accelerates slower than my 2002 skyline(maxed out,accelerates like a man whit pants full of bees)(it has Blue body,spoiler and black carbon hood.)
 
If you really want to win i could put up any le mans prototype. (have all of them)

787B on RH for me as well. Was pretty good fun, not too hard but you couldn't spin 3 times and win either.

Not that this thread isn't just a wee bit zombified.
 
Fully tune the MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car, and put some soft slicks and it'll do the trick

Any Le Mans Prototype will get the job done.
 
i just used the gt-r 07 and tuned it correctly, it killed them all. thats quite possibly the best car in the game. nothing else compares.

nah its gotta be the GT-R 07, that thing is a killer!!!! ive had lambo's ferraris, the veyron its better than all of them! and when you tunes jussst right OMG you can beat ANYTHING!!!!! any Japanese cup , any no limit open event, it'll kill em! i'll say the c6 with race spec is a excellent car too..
