Car reviews (the sequel)

Now, some of you must remember back in the day (a few months ago) when I had a thread where I would race a car around Circuit de la Sarthe, and then give you a run-down of it's performance. Those were good days... and now they're back! Except this time I think I will frequently test 2 rival cars and compare them. This week, I'm going to compare the Ferrari 458 Italia and the McLaren MP4-12C. Now, just to recap for first-timers, the track I test on is The Circuit De La Sarthe (no chicane), as it is very good for testing the handling of a car, and has a nice, long, 3 mile straightaway to test the real top speed of a car.

Also, as an added bit of fairness, if you can drive the Ferrari 458, or the McLaren MP4, or whatever car I'm testing that week around La Sarthe faster than I did, I will revise the time to yours, because, after all, we're testing the car, not my abilities. Now, it has to be a standard model, not tuned, not upgraded, no areo kit, nothing. Just straight up car.

McLaren frequently claims that, while the 458 is a great car, the MP4-12C does everything just a little bit better. now, I'm bias towards the McLaren, an The Ferrari is my dream car, but on this one I might just have to admit defeat. the first thing that you notice is better than the Ferrari is the price, both in-game, and in real life. score one for McLaren. the top speed is something that I test myself, not just read about, and the Ferrari got up to 202 MPH on the straightaway, while the McLaren managed 211. as for the Handeling, they both like to get their tail out as often as they can, and the McLaren is a bit more eager than the Ferrari, but the McLaren does it in a way that is easy to correct, giving you a faster time, while the ferrari is just out there. The Ferrari 458 is my dream car, mostly based on looks, and the McLaren is not a fantastic looking car. I give the McLaren a 7/10, and the Ferrari 10. and all of the things about the McLaren add up to 3 seconds on the Ferrari around La Sarthe. next week I'm gonna review the 3 Fairlady Z's, 300ZX, 350Z, 370Z. usually I have some pictures, but something came up, and I can't put any up this time.

This is flawed. The McLaren is faster, higher top speed, handles better and cheaper, but the Ferrari gets the 10 and the McLaren gets 7? How so?

isn't there a rule about not posting in threads that haven't been posted in for however long? Most forums do. that's why I started a new one.
I think it's around a year for that rule to be broken  Still, it's up, so just use this but link the older reviews to this OP. It's nice to see more reviewers around here :D

sorry a bout last weekend, guys. something came up and I couldn't review the fairladys, but, I will have their times up soon. instead, now, with the new GT-R Le Mans car, I thought I should give it a review.

may I just say up front, having driven this car, I think Lucas Ordonez must have been a FANTASTIC driver, because this car is really not the best. the makers of this car obviously didn't give power a very high priority, seeing as it doesn't have any. driving on the straightaway I barely got it to do 180, and the acceleration is very sluggish. on a more positive note though, the handling is fantastic. the tail is planted firmly on the road the whole time you are driving, and the car responds to the slightest touch of the wheel. the braking is pretty impressive as well. this car would do very well on the nurb where it won the 24hr. race. this car would be a great tuner. give it some turbo kits and engine tuning and fiddle with the transmission, and this car could be really great.
