With a top speed of either 28 or 50mph (model dependent) i don't think downforce is going to be an issue one way or the other. Not with a wing a trim as that.

Exactly right, hence I said a placebo effect. I know that logically it will not make a difference, but I think my mind would play tricks on me at the wheel!

That sure looks like it's dropped on an S-10 frame. The pink does not help it whatsoever. Not a fan of those S-10 swaps that mess up the wheelbase.
