After you complete the Diaz missions you can get the Vercetti missions (from the Mansion)-- the 2nd vercetti mission is called "shakedown"-- after you complete "shakedown" you can purchase businesses-- they are both businesses.

Speaking of shakedown... is that the one where you have to smash the stores in the mall because i cant beat that no matter how hard i try! Anybody got advice on that?

I always get a heli, then I fly and land on the mall parking lot and go in the entrance and then work my way towards the Gap place, and then go down the escalator and start down there.

I can't imagine a faster way to get there then the helicopter described above (I just used the cheetah they gave you)-- when you get there just be methodical-- get all the windows on the upper level (on your map/HUD the ones on your level will be square--the ones below you will have a down pointing triangle) and then do the bottom level--and a little trick--tap your sprint button quickly as you run and he won't get tired. Just keep pausing and looking at your map (you can zoom in on it to see what you have left to do)

I used a ruger or M4 I think--I like using an non auto aim rifle for this one, whatever you use, make sure you have plenty of ammo.

I've hear of people using grenades or rocketlauncher too--I'm not sure how effective they are but the rocket launcher might work real well with its long range (just don't hurt yourself).

The rocket launcher is very effective at times, but with the police attention you attract it is a little slow. I preffer to use a Tech-9 or Ingram Mach ( becuase you can run and shoot and because you don't have to change weapons to sprint). I have also used a chainsaw just have it going and run into the windows.
