car with 7 gears?

in the settings theres a 7th gear thing. im only 30% done so whats the car with 7 gears?

Well, I am the person to ask, I have every car possible in GT3 and the answer is, NO car has 7 gears, however if you have a gameshark you can enter a 7th gear on your cars.!

the Diablo (supposedly) has 7 gears.
mine only had 1, but i downloaded it, so i don't know what gearbox they come with.

Hey, J2S!!! What version do you have? How do I get the Diablo?? I need your help!! I have posted in the "Read Diablo" thread but noone responds!!! I have the US version....

no you do not get in the US version but you can shark it....but it olny comes with 6 gears.

So all I need is a gameshark and someone here will be able to walk me through installing it? If you say yes, I am out the door and buying a gameshark like right now. Remember I have US version and no knowledge of gamesharks. Which gameshark do I need??

not that you'd ever get enough space to use them all...

you can use a GS2, but it's a lot easier with a SharkPort2.

1) install the software on the CPU.
2) connect your system via USB to the computer.
3) put the SharkPort CD in the PS2 (you don't need the one for the computer after you've installed it).
4) load a game onto the CPU (with a car you don't mind turning into a Diablo).
5) right-click in any space on MK's program (i forget where to find that, but look around the Gameshark forum and you'll find a link) below the car you wish to sacrifice, and select "change car."
6) there's a huge list there. select the Diablo JGTC.
7) under file, click "write garage" and load the save back onto your memory card.
8) get in, go fast.

Oh, thanks so much, but I just have one question, what are the actual things that I need to buy, (for those steps you listed) called?

So if I walk into EB what do I need to ask for?

it's called a Shark Port (2).
it's the Shark Port for the PS2.
everything you need (except the PS2, a TV, MK's prog, and GT3) is in the box - the cables, the software, the inmstructions...

Strange thing is that in GT3 all cars except :cobra:, :mazda: 7B7B has 6 gears right? (did I miss any out? )

But in GTC Cars :car: have the actual amount of gears usually 5 or 6..so why wasn't it like that in :gt:3 I wonder?

i don't think so, but it depends more so on the store's policy.

well, you can turn your computer hard drive into a humungous memory card, you can hybrid cars (fun), you can download games (not just for GT3) and load them onto your memory card...lots of stuff.
