I was told via PM by a member that the Carbon X1 has more horsepower than the S. Vettel Red Bull Racing version. Is this true? I have a hard time believing it, myself.

Cheers. :)

I think they're all the same but one of them might have a lot of miles on the engine or not have had an oil change if they're both new.

They all have the same HP some might be more broken in than others, the x2010's that have an adjustable tranny can be faster than the s.vettel version even though it has the higher top speed by a few mph.

the proto and colored ones which have the adjustable tranny dont go as fast, max speed is 500km/hr and on the s.vet it is 507.

Oh wow, I had no idea just the S. Vettel version had the fixed transmission.

But you guys are saying the Vettel version, overall, is the quicker package?

There's only one S. Vettel version, right? Like, there isn't one S. Vettel version and then another S. Vettel Prototype with the customizable transmission, right? Is that because the Vettel version has a CVT?

Thanks! :)

Did you check if downforce levels were the same as well as gearing. Did you use any slipstreaming? And also finally did you do an oil change?

they all have the same bhp

there is 3 of them

s.vet
colored
carbon

the colored/carbon have adjustable trannys which max out at 500 while the s.vet is fixed at 507, downforce at minimum on both they hit about 480-490 without draft but with draft the s.vet goes 507 while the other two only go 500

all oil change does is affect bhp too so that wouldnt change anything as they all weigh the same, have the same hp, and the same downforce levels, the only difference is the adjustable tranny cant be set over 500 and the fixed one is stuck at 507

Awesome info guys, thanks! I love this forum.

I'm feel better now that I have the Vettel version, as I'm a huge F1 fan and that's what I really wanted. :)

I mean they can go faster on the track because of the crazy acceleration if you bring the gears down.

ah yes i wouldnt doubt that, the s.vet hits 200km/hr in 1st gear while the other ones need 4th gear for that. the proto also seem alot touchier when i first drove it but it might have been because the downforce was so high when i got it

Dunno if it's just me but I find my Carbon X2010 is faster around a track than my Vettel one...

Both have same power, same tuning but I just find the carbon one to be a bit faster...

Im the guy that pm'd the original poster, and since ive been called deceiving i feel that i have to need to clear my name.

The bottom x2010 carbon is used. The 1578hp x2010 carbon has had an engine overhaul and oilchange with 300km on it. The S.Vettel is unused and did had an oilchange. There is a difference of 47hp.

Found this very interesting, and tought it was a fact that the carbon had more hp. No idea what else could explain this.

That would be because your Carbon X1 is broken in with 300 km, and your Vettel one is not. After a certain number of kilometres/miles, the engine is fully "broken in" and produces peak horsepower.

I'm sorry if your intent wasn't to deceive me, but my perception was that you were. I am sorry for misjudging your intentions if they were genuine.

Thanks, accepted ;)

And saw something about broken in engines and sounds logical to me that, that would be the case.
