The Vivio too..not sure many miss it but it was also in GT2 and the older(87 and 82 I think) Toyota Starlet's..noone had mentioned them..also the Hyundai Accent WRC which was in GT4.

:p

Because GT2 had the best collection :p

Who remembers "Vector"

I DO!!!! :D

To me deep inside, GT2 cars were the most memorable machines ever placed in a video game (next to NFS and Test Drive) in the late 90's/early 2000's racing games history EVAR!!!! Wish they all were here on GT5. :(

I WANT MAH GT-ONE ROAD CAR, DAMN IT.

YouTube Link

Also, GT40 road car. Those two were my favorites from GT3.

I WANT MAH TS020 ROAD CAR AND GT40 MKIII ROAD CAR TOO!!!! :(

But you forgot someone else my friend. :sly:

The Lotus Elise GT1! :D I WANT MAH ELISE GT1!

Even if these remarkable machines were in the game, they would just be ruined by the kind who ruin the true feel of such a legendary car by tuning it.

The Ford Model T and the Daimler motor wagon or something are missing.

Elise GT1, Esperante GTR-1 Road Car, Cultus Pikes Peak (GT2), W8 and M12 (GT2), Espace F1 (GT2), the 250mph 3000GT (GT1), TS020 Road Car, the old horseless carriages 1890-1920, the 1800HP Escudo (only 900 this time), Vertigo Road Car, and many many more.

Edit: GT90 was a favorite too.

Man alot of good cars that bring back memories, Other than the Ford GT40 and Toyota GT-ONE Road Cars, I really miss those HKS Drag Cars and that Yellow Widebody Mitsubishi GTO:indiff:

Venturi 400 GT  Was one of my favorite in GT2...

Venturi Atlantique 300
Vector M12
Vector W8
Lister Storm Road car

An LMP road car exists?! I... I'm... I...

Somewhere in the 90s or a couple of years all Le Mans classes (LMP and GT) were required to have road versions of their racing car. Thus the TS020 and R390 road cars were born.

Hyundai Accent WRC went bye bye between GT4 and GT5, but I don't think it made it to GTPSP either.

A shame, because other than the Impreza '99 that was my favorite one in GT4.

I'm more upset that the longer tarmac eiger nordwand course never made the transition from that demo replay on GT HD to GT5, I long for a longer eiger nordwand :(

On the subject of cars though I'm rather upset that GT no longer see's it fit to have those Venturi's from GT2 :( and I miss those old 80's-early 90's era F1 cars :(

I'm sick of those 50 copies of miata, rx7 and skyline... I want 50 new cars from the old GT :(

Excuse me. 30 copies. 50 is an overestimation.

I believe the original Daihatsu Midget is no longer with us. We should mourn the loss of GT's only three-wheeler. Oh wait, the Benz Patent Motor Wagon...

We should mourn the loss of GT's only two three wheelers.

I believe the midget lives on  I'm pretty sure 2 of my friends kept sending them to each other at one point to annoy the other

GT2 has Ford GT90, what a car! :indiff: It also has Lotus Esprit GT1...And tons awesome RM's! Not to say best menu design and music ever...I'm definitely missing something...

That Esso Ultraflo Supra would've looked nice :indiff:

Appearently it's also missing for some regions on their Gran Turismo 4 games .

I was about to say. I don't have that in GT4! D:
Why is it so flipping expensive? Yen?

Yes.
I think 135.000.000 in JP version like 1.350.000 in EU/US version.

I know the conversions. Just wondering if it was Yen. Not fair, I really wanted that one.

Is the Skyline Pacecar in GT5? With proper flashing lights and stuff?

I imported it from my PSP, but the lights don't flash :/

Yes, the Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R '01 and the Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R (Pace) '01, both exists in the main GT5 game, not sure for the PSP version. However, the Pace version cannot work its lights, unfortunately :(

I wonder if that is because of the Esso sponsorship, any of you guys noticed the lack of Esso sponsorship for GT5?

According to Wikipedia, Esso is an international trade name for ExxonMobil, so that concludes the fact of the company not being as popular as to its parent, ExxonMobil. Therefore, it didn't make it to much sponsorships. But that's just an inference.

Not sure that (Esso Ultraflo Supra) was in my GT4 game, but I do remember it been in GT Concept 2002 Tokyo -Geneva, kind of a stop gap special between GT3 A Spec and GT4, but you probably already new that :)
