I would like to compile a list of all the cars that used to be in GT games.

Some i can remember are

Cultus Pikes Peak Version
1997 Nissan R390 GT1
and the 1998 Toyota GT-One

As of March 2012 there had been 1,476 different cars in GT games. That list includes regional name variations (MX-5/Miata/Eunos Roadster) as the same car - with 970 such cars in GT5.

I'll let you do the math on how many are, therefore, NOT in GT5 and just how big your list is going to be. I'll also let you in on the fact that the majority of the missing cars are in fact just versions of the MX-5/RX-7/Skyline/S2000/NSX/GTO.

TRD 2000GT/3000 GT Tom's Supra Toms T020..Venturi,Vector BMW 8 Series,a whole bunch of Mugen tuned cars Integra/Beat/Prelude Type S,regular Accord Type-R '99 I will do more research later.

Edit: R31 Silhouette,Tigra Ice Car,HKS 180 HKS R33,Ford GT40 Road car,GT90,Pulsar GTiR,Saleen Wide Body Racer, TVR Chimera(sp) Vauxhall Astra.
