Cars that cannot be bought?

As someone mentions in your thread it could be the GT academy version as I thought. I don't know anyone with a 370z tuned 08 so I think they are the same car. Annoyingly the GTR GT academy version (licence winning car) is given it's full name in the list so that's the only thing that makes me believe they could be two different cars.

I've gotten Gold in all Licenses but don't have that car, unless it's Standard.
 
I never said there were two GTR's. Read my post again. You win the Nissan GT-R Spec-V (GT Academy Version) '09 (P) for Golding the S licence. If you check the official car list it's named as I have called it above.

The confusion is over the '370Z tuned version 08' which is in the official car list and the 370Z GT academy version which is not named in the list however is won on random level 12 gift tickets.

I am suggesting that actually they are the same car just the name is not 100% identical.

Forget duping, the X2010 still counts as a rare car when you're just looking at availability within the game.
 
I had to use my lvl 12 ticket to get the 370z Tuned '08 GT Academy car, and it so happens it IS a premium car, but nowhere to be found in the dealers or anywhere i've looked. Hell, even the website i have all my cars in my garage checked off, doesn't have any info or a pic on the car yet lol

Basically no. I don't think you realIsed there was 370z GT academy version too. I'm thinking that they are the same car which means you only get two chances to win it at level 12 car ticket otherwise it's a case of trading or setting a new account up.

The GT Academy 370z and the tuned 370z could easily be the same car, but the GT Academy car has Stickers/vinyls on it that say 'GT Academy'. It's the car from last years demo that was used on Indianapolis road course.

Interesting, so does anyone have the 'tuned 08' to prove they are different cars or are we saying they are the same car?

In my garage, it's listed as :Nissan 370Z Tuned Car(GT Academy version) '08

but it's not grouped with my other Nissans when I select to display according to model.

What is grouped under then?

Playing the game straight up like I am, there's only one way to earn the carbon fiber X2010 all golds.

I'm not condemning the people who are copying, begging, and so forth, everyone plays the game how they play it.
 
It comes in diff colours as i've now seen blue, yellow, white and red.

It is a premium car so i imagine it could be painted? Not sure if it would lose the decals?

Damn and blast! Bob just earned me the second Level 12 ticket. And now there's more than one colour? Oh that's so cruel! ;) Strange really, it's just a car with stickers, and not even very nice ones, but I get sweaty palms thinking that I'll give it a shot in an hour when I return from work.
 
To complete the list of to be ignored cars (stealth) that still can not be bought.
The chrome cars: Cobra, SL300, Lambo, Audi R8, BMW M3 and the EU only Jag.

The Jag wasn't even available as pre order gift, a 100% non profit car for PD ;)

Its kind of odd the way this isn't available any other way. But previous Gran Turismo's had many more hard to obtain cars, I think.

GT4 had 2 cars that were only available used for 2 days (of the 700+day cycle) but no cars that were completely unavailable. (Not counting the used races cars available only one day, but those were also available new)
