Cars that get extra attention online

I've always been the guy too drive something different then everyone else. I would even go as far as switching too a different car too do so.

There are some cars that get extra attention online because people don't see them too often or someone found a cool color combination that gave the car unique charactor.

It all starting when i first got the furai back in the day everyone went nuts over it because it was very radical looking.

Right now people seem to like my pure white merc 190E

So what are some cars that you have used that seem to attract attention when you bring it out?

I got a white Merc 190 as well and indeed people like it .
I mostly run 500pp streetcars so most of my cars will be in that pp range

not very rare cars but car you will hardly see in a 500online lobby , best part is they are competitive also :p
edit part : we mostly run lobbies with MR drivetrains off to afvoid turning it into a ELise or NSX fanboy club race

still looking for more stationwagons and ugly cars to drive / test /tune tho :p
 
Well, I painted my Midget pink and drive around Spa for a bit, after about a lap and a half I had 3 cars driving slowly behind me, laughing into their mics. Great feeling.
 
I always get the Volvo 740 Estate out for a bit of a giggle.

If I wanted to shock some people, I usually take on 550pp NSXs and M3s with the Oullim Motors Spirra.

I find its not usually the cars that stand out. As most people seem to prefer premium cars. Its more the colour schemes that stand out to me.

Like I said MOST people seem to prefer premium. But some of those paint schemes people can do with the new wheels for standards look awesome!

GT BY CITROEN ROAD CAR.... I actually drifted it as my personal drift comp car... I just retired it last week but when i first brought it out a lot of my friends were saying "what is that a spaceship" pretty funny reaction... I always like to drift different none popular cars... Like a lot of people like that blue re-ameiya drift car, i drifted the yellow GT300 in that dealer... it is also another one of those attention getter cars... When i would bring that car out one of my friends called it the pig (because of the way it idles) and eventually the name stuck for the few months i drove it... if you have never heard it go buy one,when you get it on the track put it in 6th gear from a stop, punch the gas makes it even louder....

People always wants to trade with me when I bring one of my stealth models out on the track for a spin... :dopey:

I get tons of offers for my Edge Camaro. I'm surprised more people didn't get one when they were available.
 
I get a lot of attention in my matte white Schwimwagon in low PP rooms... I've actually been competitive once I make up for the turbo lag off the start.

Haha yes my 12 o'clock at night key was starting to type for me. :ouch:
 
My Tommy Kaira ZZ-II. I painted it black, got the wing, painted the wheels the same shade of black, and since the headlights are black, they are not visible. People always ask me what am I driving because I kept beating their Veyrons. Most of the kids in the Veyrons and X1 don't know what a Tommy Kaira is.
 
I seen only one other TVR Speed 12 in any online room in the past year. They are tricky to tune right and still a handful after that. I plan to paint mine a wild/cool color as well as the rest of my stock painted cars.

That GT500 NSX Stealth Model looks wicked, wish I had one of those...
 
I usually dont pick a car that I think I will get attention in. But I do pick cars that hardly anyone will choose to pick. I like to bring out my Legacy wagon in 500PP races. It always gets peoples attention when I pick up first place. But then I quickly put it away because I dont want anyone else in the room to know my secret. :lol:

+100 there - such an awesome car to look at in black with matching rims, not to mention, drive. Thank God you can change the rims now, that was some serious UGLY in stock form. Chromelines are always an eye turner as well.

3 cars that have yet to be mentioned here in the 500 - 550 pp region are the Mitsubishi Legunum vr-4 station wagon, the Hyundai Tiburon gt1 and that crazy 4wd soccer mom , the Honda Odessey. I took out some Ferraris in the Tiburon at Cape ring periphery (550pp) a while back, the comments were not printable here. Quality. 👍
