The RGT is easily making itself a little niche in my heart. lol. I didn't think it would be much better than the 3400S, so I didn't even give it a chance for the longet time. But after looking at it for a while and deciding "ah, what the hell..." it now resides as my most driven car within this week. I just now tuned it to perfection, and now I eagerly wait to see what it can do at Nurburgring.

BMW M3 GTR Race Car, with no upgrade only with some softer tyres. It´s great car such balanced, and quick. It has only 450HP and I thought "oh god what weak car" but the suspension and little weight is much more than only power. Really I love that car.

The first cars that grew onto me are both of the the Renault Clio V6's. Its the best drifter (in the hatchback category). It is also a good MR rally car. I used it for most of my special condition events. The only thing thats bad about this car is that on the new clio, when you install certian aftermarket wheel or "today's special" wheels, you may see the brake discs being part of the rims. 🤬 This car is still fun to drive. For a close second, I would have to pick the 1998 Honda Civic Type-R. Its one of the best handling FF in GT4. This is the only FF (other than my fully modded SRT-4) that i wouldn't mind driving on the nurburgring. It also has a nice sound to it with the stock muffler. This pretty much TIES with the fully modded Ginetta G4. :)

The cars that grew on me the most are the VR-4 Galant and my new favorite the Spec C Impreza it pulls high 8s and in the same tune goes round tsukuba in mid 51's

Grew on car?

Yes, my white Jaguar-S R fully tuned + wing is a real pleasure to drive; it drives like on rails with a stiff setup.:sly:
Its also drives more like a race car than a limousine weighing 1494kg with 630hp, it keeps even going after 320+km/h at De La Sarthe and it flys around the corners.
And the sound, V8 @ 6000rpm. Sounds like a turbine combined with a truck engine.

If you have some money, buy the jaguar-s R and tune it to the max, its a must have!

My namesake, the Suzuki Cappuccino.
I overlooked it at first like I did with all of the Japanese compact cars.
However, when I restarted GT4 and bought one, I fell in love with it.
It's such a lightweight car, it effortlessly weaves its way through corners.
And with a few modifications, it can also give cars a run for their money on the straightaways. :sly:

I dunno about what car I really enjoyed using... I REALLY loved the Mazda 787B in GT3... But I'm obsessed with Nissan in real-life, so I would prolly say my favorite car is the S15. I have a ton of fun running it on Sim Tires on Leguna Seca (my favorite track).

edit - I really like the Focus Rally Car too, it's just a fun ride for me.

I will have to say the BMW 120i.
I was racing a little Arcade Mode the other day against one of my friends and he suggested a showdown between the baby bimmers. First we raced the 120d, which I found fun to drive and okay steering. Then we took the 120i to the racetrack... That car really grew on me. In comparison to the 120d, which I also found a bit understeering, it was a blast! Its tendancy to oversteer makes it a really fun drive. I even bought it in GT Mode and souped it up with the best parts and the big turbo to make a "track day" racer. Now it eats the evo and the sti for breakfast. I'm also fiddling around with a drifting setup based on TRi's setup and it has turned out rather well IMO. A damn fine car I must say!

The Lancia Stratos Rally Car. At first, I thought it looked lame. Then I drove one in the S-license and I loved it so much, that I retook three times.

Oh yeah! Quoted for freaking truth.

The old S/R... IMO, the finest luxury sedan you can buy in the game, period! I've got one at 585hp, all maxed with sport softs and it continues to gorilla rape everything on the track. I ran mid 11's in the 400M and topped out at 205mph+. Just recently it was a my go-to car until I found the RS, 3400, and now the RGT. But definitely a must have! It's SOOO sleek in black...

There are quite a few sedans faster than the S-Type R. But otherwise, spot on.

But not a single Sedan comes close to the look and style of the Jaguar, period.:sly:

BTW Are there any sedans with V8's? I dont know?💡

Saleen S7. I though wow another stupid american muscle. Not close to a match for those german supercars. But i was deffinately wrong. Its so smooth in low speed then when u mash on the gas it just flies, and all that weught youd think it has is gone.

The ones that suprised me -

the MAZDA RX-8 Concept LM Race Car '01 - great handling, green and orange race car

the PONTIAC Sunfire GXP Concept '02 - after some tuning and mods, it's a great little 2-door FF coupe :D

The S-type definately has a place from me, which is probably because of the super-quick gear-shifts.

Never really paid any attention to it, then i got bored and bought one souped it up and took it to Nurburgring(yes?) try it you'll love it. My sweet and sexy Dodge Viper SRT10 Black w/ Gold BBS lowered... looks sick.(spoked ones without red center) If you get one PLEASE Don't Super/Turbo Charge. N/A with this one.

Nissan Skyline GT'R '00

No fancy M or V-spec crap, just the good "old" GT-R. At first, I didn't liked this car too much but it's quite pleasant to drive with 776 HP 👍

AC 427 - Looks good, especially zooming around Nurburgring. Quite zippy for its age and appearance. I think the 427 has slighly better handling than the Cobra variant, though I should try and properly test each out

Ford Falcon XR8 (Australian V8 Supercar) - Tremendous handling and acceleration. A lot of fun to use on Circuit de la Sarthe (Arcade mode). Engine also sounds nice and "grunty"

Too bad the Holden Commodore wasn't included in a V8/Bathurst 1000 race version. Hope to see it in GT5

Finally, Lotus Elise - A perennial favourite of mine, looks good, sounds good, and is extraordinarily light and nimble. Can take on a huge variety of powerful cars and win due to its great acceleration and often surprising speed

The Mitsubishi Mirage 1600

That car is freaking awesome. Perfect first-time tuner for a person wanting to messa round with a FWD car. I actually created a write-up about a year ago about it. I may start doing them again.

Definitely the NSX. It doesn't really matter what year. But it's somewhat always had the titel as a pseudo supercar, and kept that title even when Lexus sedans started making cars with more power.

And I still think the look is really understated, but classy and stylish in it's own way.

Amen. At first I only really used the NSX-R as an alternative to my Lotus - which I also love after getting the thing tuned - but then I began to fall in love with the combination of stability, speed and handling that it has. The updated look of the NSX-R also adds a lot to it's attractiveness, and it actually looks good with a wing! Pure joy to drive, absolutely responsive and will tell you when it is near it's limits, so that you can ride the edge.

At full tune, it isn't one of the most powerful cars in the game, but it is very well balanced and can pose a big threat to almost any other non-DTM/LMP/JGTC/Super Touring Cars.

Now that I have won the NSX-R LM Road AND Race Car, I have the full set of 3!

EDIT: It is my go-to car whenever I want to have fun, or play against someone (street car vs street car). I've spanked many RX-7/8's, Skylines, 350Z's etc with this.

Not 100% sure which V8 sedans are in the game without looking but I would bet that there is at least 1 V8 Merc with 4 doors in there. The Lexus LS also has a V8, but I can't remember it being in the game - I can only recall seeing the IS. Same goes for Audi. Their A8 range and a couple of their S cars currently have V8s but again not sure if any are in the game. You can probably tell that I haven't paid much attention to the big sedans in GT4.. I am pretty sure that there is an Aussie Ford or Holden road car in there somewhere with 4 doors, perhaps a Falcon or something. That might have a V8.

Oh, and another car that grew on me: The Protomotors Spirra. I wasn't expecting much from it but went and bought one after seeing it in a race, because I thought it looked quite nice. Turned out to be a great drive and I always enjoy taking it out for a spin. Another car which I wasn't expecting much from but which turned out to be really enjoyable for me was the Hommell Berlinette. Not much to look at and not very fast but huge fun and I could drive it all day. It's like a Europa but friendly.

Then there's the opposite effect - in my case personified by the Clio V6. It's a car I had never liked, and yet when I ran one in one of the license tests (or could have been a mission. I forget now) I was impressed by its balance. So I took one on a mid engined drifters group test, which it won, beating the sideways Stratos and my beloved Spirra in the process. So now I know it's a great little car with everything going for it... how come it still leaves me cold?

Well, there are a few V8 Sedans, all of which I've seen a good deal of performance from. Firstly is the Jaguar S Type R, which is unrivaled in style. And then you have the 300C, RS6, Taurus SHO, FPV GT, E 55 AMG, and GS300. I'm not sure if there are more, but those are the most popular I'd say...

And I couldn't agree with you more about the Spirra. I just bought one and have yet played with anything as potent and efficient with it's given horsepower (in my case 495hp). It also sounds very good, almost like a Carrera GT with the Semi-Racing exhaust and supercharger. I've recieved some very considerable times around my favorite tracks (Midfield, Nurburgring). Problem is the under-steer. The only way to combat it is being very cautious or limiting it's capabilties with aids and weight transfers, it seems. I've been playing with it, trying to perfect the suspension because I know if done correctly, the Spirra could very well be my best overall performance car. I bought my black with some black-in-chrome BBS wheels and a standard wing (which is very helpful).

BTW Are there any sedans with V8's? I dont know?💡
Yes. Quite a few in fact. The Mercedes E55 AMG; the Ford FPV GT; the Audi RS6 and Audi S4 (new one); Ford Taurus SHO; Chrysler 300C; Holden Commodore SS; and also the S-Type R. The GS300 is not a V8, though. It uses the Toyota Supra I6.

the Buick GNX....definite sleeper. First off, very adaptable, i can switch things up in this car to get a lot of a-spec points from a lot of races. Second, with acceleration and a stage 3 turbo upgrade, i putup a better lap than a nardo, a MB SLR, and a spyker, all while in sports tires. plus, it looks like a scraper. got to love a 500 hp scraper!

bloody oath!
