Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR 1970 it goes pretty good. that car is the same as a plymouth arrow

the Toyota Caldina.

Who would of thought that you can make 587 hp from a 2.0 4 banger. :scared:

The car is amazing 👍

The Caldina has a engine similar to the ones the Evo and Sti uses. Four cylinders and 2.0L displacement; but one of the major issues with that car is the gearbox, Four speed automatic just doesn't cut it in GT4, IRL maybe.

Mine would be the E55 Amg. I'm a huge fan of the Amg & M series, and this is one of the first cars I have tried to tuned. Light engine tuning with some Suspension mod makes this Heavy Four Door Saloon capable of sub 1minute Tsukuba laps. :)

Edit: Didn't realize the comments on the S-type R was written by me almost a year ago. haha

Pontiac Solstice.

The Subaru WRX STI spec C It's my fastest road car around Tsukuba (51's) faster than my AMG SLR and only 3s of my best time in my F1 car

Every body knows WRX STI is a great tuner car.
The thread is about cars you would not expect to be a great tuner car.

The thing is by fitting a race gearbox (I.E. Tuning) you can improve to 6 gears

may not fit the description of a tuner, but the caddy cein greatly outdid my expectations (and my tuned 700something horsepower ford GT and my 700something horsepower Camaro LM race car). great braking, great acceleration, good cornering grip, and with tuning can hit above the 290mph mark (with NO2 of course). as for real tuners, I'd say the Suzuki GSX R/4, built to the hilt. only around 270 or so hp, but it can take on esprits and other MR cars and win like they weren't even there. doesn't look half bad either. the 85 Pajero Evo can also get up and boogie very nicely, and depending on how you have the VCD tuned can do some nitrous drifts (get a slide going then mash the nitrous button. works very well on the Escudo). RSC Rally Raid can hang with comperably powered sports cars on track as well as hold it's own on the dirt/snow/wet tarmac
yes, i know none of those are production cars, but they all exceeded my expectations greatly
