Cars to "barely" beat the 24h of Nurburgring?

Can you name some cars that could give me a challenge beating the Nurb 24h race?

Premium car preferably, I want to do the race in cockpit cam.

I was thinking of the Zonda R.

The Audi R8 Race Car Oreca 05 seems to be the bunny of the race listed at almost 800hp with 950Kg.

The Mazda has the same power and weights 120Kg less. I'm thinking racing with the 787 will be a walk in the park since the AI is so slow.

Im planning on using either the R10 stealth or 787B stealth.
off topic i did the Tsukuba 9hr yesterday and found the A1 to be very very aggresive a lot more than usual, hope they arnt in the 24hr le-man and Nurburgring.

I have an R10 Stealth also, but I don't like the cockpit view of that car that much.

On the 908 I will get claustrophobic lol, that cockpit cam is creepy. That + rain + night on the ring

just use a car that the opponenents are using, one that is in the middle of the typical opponents list, maybe run with racing hard / medium, that should keep it quite even. Personally, I'd run with something that will easily win because 24 hours is a long race to lose lol!

I started it already on the Peugeot 908 HDI with stock power and racing hards.

I gavee them a 15 min min lead, to be 1.5 laps behind. I don't know how I'm doing, gonna check in a few hours, if I calculate I'm not gaining enough ground to make it to the first place before the time runs out, I'ma change the strategy on the fly to racing mediums.

If I'm like 4-5 secs a lap faster than the first, I can take the lead somewhere in the 23rd hour. If my calculations are mistaken, racing meds should give me 10 more seconds a lap.

I switched off the HUD completely, so I'm praying calculations are correct LOL

Gonna take me like 3 days to finish I guess.

In the 24hr race you race LMP cars, so he won't win it with that car...

I an't even build the motivation to START this race. Let alone risk losing it :|

In the 24hr race you race LMP cars, so he won't win it with that car...

i did it with a Skyline GT-R 00' also a Elise can beat them on that course....try it

Main competition: Audi R8 and S2000 GT1 turbo
use Acura NSX RM 91

Main competition: S2000 GT1
use Suzuki GSXR, Lotus RM 96, Alfa Carrozolla or something like that (old race car in Alfa dealership, 10 mil - ouch)

Still researching some others.
