Pretty much all the cars ive driven so far, need to have their suspensions, camber, spring rate, lsd tweaked to make them competition worthy.... but i have a run into a couple of cars which are brilliant right out of the box. One of those gt500 nsxs and the merc sls gt3.

Have you guys run into any with perfect default setups?

Im more interested in road cars with this feature.

(disregard front toe, seems all cars need that adjustment)

Oh you mean race-worthy. I dunno I get the feeling the Dia select S13 Silvia is a dang fine car to start with, it's got enough power to learn drifting on and it corners and accelerates well enough for a car of it's class. I'd say that's pretty good. Same for the Toyota 86 '12, that's a perfect car to start driving on and learning techniques to fine-tune your skills with!

Mclaren mp4.only added some power to it and its earned me over 2 million so far with stock suspension, lsd and weight all aids off.

I love the S13 or the Miata ;)

Miatas are good too, they're so easy to drive! And they can be tuned up pretty good! :D Speaking of miatas, is that yours in your avatar out of curiosity?

As soon is possible. No I'm 22, student and live in central London.

The very first car I drove when I got my wheel. Problem was I put aftermarket wheels on it right away BEFORE I knew of the glitch and way BEFORE it was fixed. I nearly died.

Of course my 'like' was not for the fact that you nearly died…

Funny enough the Z4 GT3 was terrible out of the box but the M3 GT2 is absolutely brilliant. As far as road cars, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is fantastic off the lot!

Before the update 1.03, The Megane Trophy V6 was an easy drive and a capable race car. Even giving it all power parts and leaving the other settings untouched, it was still an easy drive. I guess the update made sense, as 500 + hp in a ~900 kg race car that is MR means a good tune and some concentrated driving

Oh, I did a comparison, and the Fairlady Z34 has much tighter suspension, which led to a lot better of a lap time at Spa. The Genesis is extremely cool in every way, though. I especially love its tachometer ;D

@stormbringer the Mercedes SLS GT3? Really? I've read others say the same type thing, so I bought one to try out.
I think it's quite bad as is. It has 610 pp before oil change while the Honda HSV is at 573 pp. I'm about 4 seconds faster around Apricot Hill with the HSV using the same tires. The SLS just plows straight on. I cannot get it to turn.

No doubt the HSV is an amazing ride in GT6, but it shouldn't be so much faster than the SLS. Or am I just missing it?

SLS is perfect for my style out of the box. My tuned version is only slightly faster. Makes me think the tune I have on there is not all that great. :(

I haven't really tuned any cars so far, unless it was necessary for seasonals. Otherwise, just tires.

But I've probably had the most fun with the 288 GTO right out of the box. Great car.

I would say every car needs some tuning to be competitive in a RACE with the guys who do tune. What I would say is that there are many cars that have good handling right out the box.

The sls gt3 is pretty amazing right out of the box. The car is very well planted on the road. I won that gt3 championship with it first try. i have noticed it doesnt accelerate as fast in a straight line as the other cars in the same category (downforce settings maybe) But it corners really well, and is pretty forgiving. (tc abs aids all off). I havent driven the hsv yet. Will try it out. And that gtr shultz...that car MIGHT be the best in this category. Had a tough time blocking that car trying to win 1st. Super fast.

Lets just start with street cars: I prefer the C7 Corvette with stock tires too!

Now I love the FT-86 and its' other variances(FRS and BRZ).
I always new that if you made an 86 a little lighter and added some aero parts it would be epic. I was correct!
I have to go with a stock Gazoo Racing Toyota 86!

I would've said the FINA Mclaren, because it seemed to have perfect balance without any adjustments. After 1.03, it understeers like crazy. Felt like a front engined car.

I got a simple suspension and LSD tweak for most GT3 cars on racing hard :) All of them drive great on 1.03. Link on my sig :D

Speaking of mclarens, the mclaren f1 roadcar, its one of my fave...but it needs its suspension tweaked to make it perform as it should. After that its unstoppable. Dissapointing that such a great car doesnt come stock with an appropriate setup.

I haven't driven it in GT6 yet, but it was a beast in GT5. Probably the best car.

I love the F1's stock suspension. In fact it's the only car where I think the suspension is absolutely perfect.
