Cars you can never get back if you sell?

i understand why developers put hidden levels and hidden items in their games....but its sucks when those options are only available to certain people...such as the Japanese or US or Pal versions...
i am not fussed with the Viper..i have had it for a long time but i think its only got 12.5 km on the clock....
should i race this care more?...i get more fun trying to beat it with my celica trd ot escort raly car.....
last summer, i was in a pub in my home town....sampling the local goods when i heard what i thought was thunder....it was getting louder and louder and the folks in the pub started lookign at each other....since the pub was on the main drag, we all looked outside the windows and doors....just in time to see a Dodge Viper drive by slowly at about 20mph...
the thing shook the walls in the pub and had every single person on teh crowded summer streets looking at it with thier jaw dropped.....
its the only time i have ever seen one (must be a collector to have one in this country).....but bloody hell....its a monster and the sound from that engine was quite simply scary...

Ive seen 2 also, one was on the school bus in 5th grade, and one was recently, I rolled up on it from a distance and was like hmmmm I wonder if that Corvette has a Z06 badge? (Corvettes are all the hell over Kansas, seriously) But my friend was like damn its a GTS and I would have raced it in my 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE but I was on diversion

I have seen two vipers, one in my home town, it was blue with white stripes, I have never heard it, but i have seen it from a very close distance, I watched in and thought WOW!!!
Cool, but small... And the second meeting was in deutchland in essen, you know, a motor show...I have also seen a corvette, the old version and the z06, and i have heard it!!!! I loved that car on that moment...

yes in a way, but u can get it back. cars you win already come 'broken in' so they are at their maximum hp. if you buy a retail one and drive it around for a few hundred miles, the hp will be the same as the prize car once again.Originally posted by kragbees

would u buy a skyline from a run down dealership in the boonies with 5 miles on it or would you get it from nismo with 1500 miles on it?
hmmm to be honest i may go for the 5 miles one myself, goodness knows what those nismo boys get up to. but the nismo car IS faster.

I've seen around ten different Vipers, there was a Yellow RT-10 with black stripes in a dealership in Stockport a while back, thers a Red SRT-10 in a dealler called Bower and Miller in Manchester center, I see this plain Black GTS around in the city, and a guy that used to live near me had a Blue GTS with whte stripes, the most memorable was a Viper GT which I saw whn I was in London it was parked outside a coffe republic.

Mine's Skyline can be won over & over again, its one of 4 prize cars at Trial Mountain 2hr, so just do that race over & over again until you win it!
Alternatively, save yourself a few hundred hours of frustration, (and countless F094/Hs, Lister Storm V12s and S2000 LM Racecars that you'd be bound to win, 'cos when you want only one of 4 cars available as a prizecar at the end of a 2hr endurance race, 🤬's law of GT3 states very clearly that you will probably not win it 1st time round!
) and win the 1st 9 races of Amatuer league GT Allstars, and you'll have your choice of a Mine's Skyline, Ford GT40 Road Car, Raybrig NSX JGTC or the Nismo Skyline GT-R R-Tune using the save/reload trick.

It is definitely a pain when somebody else screws up your game by getting rid of cars , but this has got to take the cake:
GT 1: every race complete, every prize car plus heaps of bought ones, about 2.4mil in the coffers, every license,
GT2: about 75% complete (mainly just manufacturer's cups to go) most of the prize cars, about 3 mil in the bank, every license.
My noob brother in law went and erased the whole card...
So now, I have 2 mem cards in my PS2, for GT3. I save on both. NOBODY touches the second one!
Currently: 72.9% complete, about 1.8mil, 80 or so cars, every license. Completed Rally, beginner, amateur and pro. All that's left is some enduros. I'm not losing that saved game!

But the normal Honda S2000 cannot be even tradedBadBatsuMaru - In fact in the PAL version of the game the Viper cannot be bought. Or in fact sold. So although it belongs on the list as "cars that can only be won once", you can't sell it...
Same goes for the normal Honda S2000 in PAL mode.
